Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very good in terms of course structure and management. The lab practical and lectures help us to improve our real life experience andprovide us further academic pursuits. The difficulty level of exams here are moderate.

The internships here are good for future reference and are helpful for students in gaining more experience. THe companies also provide stipend and certificate. Projects are also given in the intership programm.

The placements of our college are good enough for students. The students after sixth semester are eligible for campus placements. Companies like infotech and teachnook come here for internships. The maximum amount for package went upto ten lakhs here.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarships are available for those who score more than ninty percent. The fees structures affordable for all. The per semester fees is of 60000. And the overall fees is of 520000. There are companies which visit the campus for internship programmes.

Campus Life

The overall experience is good is the campus. There are various clubs like gaming club and coding club. There annual fests and events like annual sports and engineer day and many more. There are options for co curricular activities also.

Admission

The admission process is very easy. There was no entrance exam but the admission process was done on merit basis. The application fees is of five hundred rupees. There are exams being conducted in every three months

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

I applied on various government colleges like BHU ,OUAT And various private colleges like Netaji Subhash university, jamshedpur . In BHU the eligibility criteria for taking agriculture was to have maths in higher secondary and I was not having that In ouat the counselling process was very late.
