Why did you choose this college over others? I chose SOA over KIIT and VIT due to better ROI (Total 16L vs 25L at others) and its high NIRF ranking. My JEE rank (1.5L) wasn't enough for NITs, and VIT Category-5 was too expensive for me. Admission Process Admission is via SAAT (Free) or JEE Main. I preferred SAAT as it's easier. I had also applied for Chandigarh University alongwith my friend we got admission into our desired branches we were also given scholarship of about 70000 on the 175000 tution fees but decided to withdraw because of not so student-friendly environment, transportation issue. The scholarship is given on the basis of CUCET online proctor baes exam conducted by the university itself for admission. In our college the admission process starts from March or April and admission is done in two ways- by giving online SAAT exam, or through JEE Mains result. It continues till the month of August until the vacant seats aren't filled. The overall admission experience is average, after selection you are first required to pay some amount as demand draft to the university in order to confirm your admission. I had also applied for Chandigarh University in Mohali for a BE degreen in CSE(AI and ML). I got admission there based on their online test CUCET. But I had to choose my college over CU because upon going there i realised that the university was far from the main city and also the environment inside the college is more shifted towards fun and parties which didn't align with my personal life. I had also given IMU examination and secured an AIR 307 but because of i was underweight i couldn't make it. To get admission in ITER you need to give the SAAT examination conducted by SOA you can also get admission through JEE MAINS percentile like I got and then there is a stray vacancy round at the last in the month of august to fill the vacant leftover seats....Read More
