A great college with little issues

I would give a good rating to this course because it gives a vast decisions in future aspects. And this is why I chose this course because after graduating from this course, I would easily apply for vast types of job opportunities and other curriculums too. The curriculums of this course make students to face the real life aspects in easy manner. It strengthens the mind and soul of the students in a great manner. Teaching field should be improvised by following the practical method more than theoretical method as this course is completely based on practical method but college somehow don't seek much in this. And some great teachers with high knowledge should be hired for the students preparation. The exam level is quite high in this. Students go through class tests each semesters and then the final semester exams come along with practicals, presentations, assignments and many more. So, exam frequency is much higher in this. The students get busy along the year. It's quite difficult.

There are lots of internship opportunities for the students as many great companies come to this college like cognizant, Accenture, Genpact and much more for the roles of web development and many other roles. IT projects and marketing projects are much availed in this college. There is average of 3 months internship with good amount of money according to the branch sections of the students.

The placement benefits are pretty good in this college. Students get eligible since 6th semester for campus placements. Many companies visited this college along with Accenture indore, ISPAT raipur, Bhilai steel plant and many more. The highest package goes upto 13 lakhs and average package is 5 lakhs. Students should acquire good percentage for placement in this college without backlog in any semester exams with approx 9 CGPA. My plans after getting degree is to work on skills by doing Masters in this course and then will seek for job opportunities.

So, the fees structure of BIT Durg is 40,000 rs per semester and there is two semesters in a year so it will be 80,000/yr. And hostel fees is separated from this. Hostel fees is also 80,000/yr. But, as semester increases, some amout gets reduced from the fees and it becomes lesser than the previous one. The complete course of a student will rely upto approx 4,50,000rs of complete course without hostel fees. So, BIT provides lots of scholarship benefits to the lower caste students and there is another section of girls who have done great in their previous academics. They get many more financial facilities. In campus employment, I would give much rating, as this college provides lots of internship facilities since 3rd semester and many other job opportunities like GDSC memberships for great resume and CV and much more.

The overall experience of mine is excellent as it provides many facilities for the students. There is always functions going on the auditorium. But the main and the annual fest of BIT is OJAS, which held on the month of march every year and many technical festivals are held the complete year. The accessibility of books are excellent. BIT has thousands of books in the Library and can be accessible from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm evening evening every day. Classrooms are pretty excellent. They are connected with projectors and a white board with proper speakers and LED screens. Sports are the biggest flex of BIT college as there is always types of sports going on the campus. BIT takes students for different different sports selection and all. There are total of 16 clubs in BIT of social, cultural and knowledge creator. Students can apply for clubs in third semester. BIT teaches students on creating balance between academics and club opportunities. So, no need of worry in running a club in BIT.

Hostel faility is pretty good. There is total of four wings with 15 rooms in each wing. The room consists of for 3 students. Students are provided with 3 chairs and 3 study tables with 2 fans in a room and a bathroom and toilet with proper 24x7 water and current supply and a maid comes every alternate days to clean the room. Meal quality is better than other colleges. But not as expected like home. But nice food. The menu changes seasonally. To get into the hostel, there is hostel form provided during college admission process. And students can fill the form and see the rooms and after a week, they will get their rooms allotted. If I have rented a room or PG, I would have faced lots of issues like food issues, cleaning issues, water and current supply issues, and the very necessary, i would have separated from the college informations as a fresher, i would have been new here without any known people.

The admission process was pretty time taking. BIT approves two entrance examination for admission process i.e. JEE Mains and CGPET. Students can also join through management quota but the fees for that is depended on the type of branch a student choose or wants to avail with. The eligibility of the courses depends upon the ranks of the students they obtained through the two entrance examinations. To get the application form, students should get enough rank to get placed in this college. After selection, students will come to BIT college for admission process and here they will get the application form and other required documents. Reservation benefits are available in this college as some amount of seats are reserved for lower caste students. Jee mains are Little bit tough but CGPET is easy to crack to get into this college. The only thing that needs to be improved is the admission timing. As the admission timing is very late, so that the college start late for the new students.
