Infrastructure of college is too good and library facility is best among in surat with central ac. Sports facility also available and platform for them is also provided by college in various competition. Administration work can be made little bit faster and also website can be make more reliable. Education and other opportunity will be well provided by college with placement in good company.

I took JEE examination for admission into SVNIT. My score was 178 and my all India rank is 8008. I prefer SVNIT over other colleges because It is very well known for its Mechanical Engineering department because all professor are very well experienced and they have all the facilities for doing research in labs.

In the first year you would learn every aspect of engineering and without any Specific field you would seat with all field student and interaction become more with other student. After first year , you will learn about your specific branch, not that much deep but introduction of your branch subject. Third and fourth year you will learn different subject with good amount of knowledge which is also helpful in industry. Apart from that if you want to learn other branch subject you can have elective subject option also. so ,overall Good to very good Course curriculum.

Yes, college do provide an internship but that is not part of the curriculum so if you don't do an internship they won't mind anything. they also provide an internship under research project of their own or in industry with stipend. Average stipend is about 12,000 rs.

As SVNIT has a great alumni network it always helps student to get a job. About 125+ company visited our college and about 80%+ student are placed with average package of 5 lacks CTC. Though computer department average is about 11 lacks CTC with highest 2905 lacks and other branch highest package is 19 lacks CTC. Also 4-5 PSU also visit our campus as our campus has a good reputation.

For first year there will be a welcome party and other events including dance , singing and with EDM night only for frist year. Every year in February there is Techno-Cultural fest of college in which EDM night, Celebrity night and many prize based technical event is organized. Here student of all year gathered and organize whole fest so there will be increase in communication with each other. Also a lot of clubs are running and their events are also organized after lecture.

Fee structure pf one year is about 1,35,000 around. As students are having highest percentile coming, financially weak student will be awarded Scholarship. Also college provide a scholarship to student who need money and so many scholarship information provide by faculty and senior.

Yes, college provide scholarship to student who need that they have special committee and they interview every student so no faulty scholarship is gone away. Also there are exams for which they provide scholarship. If you are topper of branch then they will nominate your name in some exams which will give you a scholarship.

Campus life is too good as it is in Gujarat so there is no issue of safety. Girls hostel have best security and Timings which they need to follow otherwise their parents will get a phone call. You can see a lot of greenery in campus and so many activities after lecture are going on in garden. Also college have a huge ground for cricket and football. Also indoor game stadium with full facility. Students are from various state so you will find almost every type of person in college. Robotics ,LAC, SAE groups are there in campus which will be available from first year. Also gender ratio is also good apart from mechanical department.

Alumni Network is too good and active on various platform. Also there is alumni group in campus. Senior are always helpful to student for various work and exams. Senior guide them in competition or in various exams, sports activity for placements and internships also. For their research project also they will help you to reach out faculty. They will also hearing student problem and tried to solve them.

Exam structure is too good. There is no gap between two exams so it will be finished in a week. There are mid semester of 30 marks and end semester exam of 100 marks,which is converted into marks. Internal Exams of 20 marks will be taken by faculty during classroom lecture. Lab exams are conducted just before end semester exams so yeah preparation will be done before a week for average student.

After your JEE rank is declared you need to login into online process which is conducted by JOSAA ( in my year) and you need to select your preference of your college among NIT and there were 4-6 round (vary every year). If you get admission in earlier round then you can either book your seat in to that NIT or You can just select another NIT and choose to leave this NIT on your risk ( may be now process will be changed a little bit) .

Faculty have a lot of experience and they have a lot of international research publication. But if you think you will just wait for them to guide you then that won't happen as they have many works to do so it is your responsibility to reach them out. once you reach them they always happy to teach you new things. so their standard of teaching is very well other part depends upon student that how much they want to learn.
