The garden in front of every departments.
The organisation of fests in festival by the different clubs of the college.
The faculty members are supportive they always support to the students

Dislikes

The university didn't provide shade for the parking of vehicle
Newly constructed department structure are not satisfying.

Course Curriculum Overview

Students can be influenced by hearing B.com. (Honrs). Specially Honrs because it provides the specific subject selection in last semester and this could be influence students. The whole course is divided into six semester and each semester har a interval of six months after the six months they to appear their end sem exam and after passing that they can be promoted to next semester. As semester increase, difficulty also increases.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 7000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college conduct internship program every year for all the course available in GGU and it is conducted at the last semester of aal course. The selected interns are sent to different companies for their skill development and are also provides with stipend.

Fees and Financial Aid

In this college it charges the minimum fees for the course B.com Honrs because it is the only central university in chhattisgarh and it is running by government. The fee structure are same for all categories students but SC and ST category students are provided some scholarship amount in yearly basis. And if any student has scored more than 80 percentile in 12th class then he has been benefited by more than 10,000 as scholarship amount except general category students.

Campus Life

The college has covers more than 600 acres area. It is so beautiful and covered with trees of so many different species. The college have club like Ggv tarang band and abhinarthan group which organise function on monthly basis. The university has a big library which has provides big hall for self studies and a separate room for interate survice. It also provides library card to each and every students for the issueing of books from library.

Admission

Students who wants to take admission in Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur. They have to appear Central University Entrance Test (CUET). Students who have passed 12th class from any board are eligible to attempt exam. Candidates can find all information from CUET official website. Candidates of SC and ST background are provided some reservations and some fees exemption. After registration in CUET they are informed about the exam or all necessary for exam by mailing to their email.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Preparation for Group disscussion and interview shold start.

The Beautiful campus and hostel things too

Placement Experience:

Firstly they offer internship on 5 sem for 5 6 months paid unpaid too For bcom hons they offer apply legal raipur which is paid internship For bcom it is hard to find paid internship because we have to work on ca firms which is hard under the government rules many of the students get placement of they done their work very well

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.

Best college in Raipur

Remarks:

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
