Amity Experience

Only Amity Entrance Exam was given because it was on graduation level and there was no specified exam to be given. Since I'm from Commerce background so B com honours was quite an option for me.

Course structure was good enough as topics were categorized and well divided into various subjects which won't pressurize a student to learn about just one subject more rather than other subjects. Every subject has credits so students can choose accordingly.

Yes the college provides internship but there was no stipend offered as it was preferred to more of a learning process rather than earning as it's always said first learn then earn. Overall experience was really good.

The college offers a lot of placements and Job opportunities to students as a lot of companies come to campus for placements and job interviews. Companies like KPMG, DELL, HCL etc come to the campus. Many students are placed and as amity says it's a 100% placement.

Amity has a lots of fest which are handled by students. Amity youth fest is the annual fest including dj nights and various competitions such as fashion shows and dance competitions. Then there is separate fashion shows by students pursuing amateur courses. There is freshers and Farewell etc.

Fee structure is kinda expensive for normal people because well it's Amity but with that you get benefits too. There are scholarship programs to give a relief in fee to students. But the fee structure is worth the course because well you get free WiFi for 3 years and air conditioned classes so if you sum it all up then its alright.

I don't know about loans. I guess there must be loans as there's a bank inside the campus but there's this scholarship which is provided to the student who has a continuous increase in his performance basically the outperforming student.

Campus life is amazing if you intend to live it. The crowd is of 25,000+ students and this brings in a lot of culture and variety. Extracurricular activities and parties carries by students are really fun and exciting. Ragging is not at all tolerated and students can be involved in themselves in at a level of friendship inside the campus. Rest everyone is adult enough.

Hostel rooms are separately provided. They are divided into A categories i.e; Ac rooms and non ac rooms. Both varies on their facilities accordingly. Hostel keepers are strict as per their rules and norms and mess food is fine but not that great though they have been readily increasing the quality of food every semester.

Seniors are a lot helpful. There was this guy named Kshitij who was the sports captain of our department till 2017. He was the best guy and a really amazing person who helped me in most of my problems. He was a brother more than a mere friend in need.

Exams structure is quite under stable as more subjects bring more exams. The exam schedule gets very lengthy but there is not so much pressure on students to study as there as usually only 4-5 units to study per subject and that even the laziest student can cover in 2 days. But it gets tiring and less time to prepare.

To get admission one can simply go to their official website and register themselves and follow the instructions accordingly. Then after payment of registration there is the exam and personal interview that is to be given in order to go forward in the selection process and then news comes on the website itself or via email.

Faculty of the college was nice. There were core teachers and extra teachers as well as substitute teachers. Each of them was very well qualified in their own field and they provided good guidance by helping in projects and even big credits reports like NTCC projects.
