MIT Banglore review!

I have friends in different colleges including Pune University and Nit surathkal . The end sem exams of our college is much tougher than theirs and that helps a lot as we have to study every topic in depth and it helps with the real world competition. Our college has great faculty for my branch , also my college has an ex isro employee for electronics dept. We have a teams account on which we are provided with all the subject materials. The timings for end sem exam is 9 to 12 and it is for 50 marks. The exam is conducted on an e-pad , it is completely paperless .

As i am in 2nd year and i havent heard much about the placement yet. I would like to say that the placement is same as the main manipal campus. Our college provides placement training in 3rd year to train the students for the same.

My college is a bit expensive as it is a private college , but i think it provides the facilities for which it takes money. Overall cost for my 4 year plan will be around 26 lakhs , that is including tuition fees , hostel fees , mess fees and personal expenditure. Scholarships are available on your performance in the MET and your college gpa. The placement is same for banglore and manipal campus for btech , the placement is combined.

Campus life is too good , as there are many departments and many fests take place in my college. There is football ground , tennis court , vollyball court , basketball court and a complete cricket ground for the students. The library has all kinds of books and if we want a book which is not there we can request and the book is available within 2 weeks. Classroom has a projector and centralized air conditioning. All the classes are recorded and uploaded on the student website.thwre are many clubs like codex,astrology club,athletic club,etc we can join any club and be part of their events. There are 2 auditoriums which conduct many events like tedx talks , skits , etc. My campus is drug free and there is no bullying , so it is a safe campus. There are patrol dogs with a guard at the gates to stop any illegal things inside campus

Hoatel facilities are too good. There is 24x7 hot water service for bathing . There is a laundry service which provides wash and iron upto 6kg for 30times a year. We have 2 mess and we can choose which mess to join , the food quality is good and the variety is also good but the quantity is a bit less. We get nonveg 4 times a week. Hostel is affordable and we can get the same by contacting through the website after admission. There are many PG near my college but it is not worth staying there as the facilities provided in my hostel are way better. There is a kettle on each floor for students to use. Wifi speed is also good , we can stream 1080p videos and good for study purposes.

I got 91 marks out of 240 marks in MET. The manipal enterance exam has 4 sections english , maths , chemistry and physics . Then i was sent a mail regarding the admission process which was very easy . We have to deposit 10k and then we can select the manipal college and the branch we want and we have to give a priority for the same . Then there are 7 rounds for the admission and we can reserve our seat in the college by the same. The application form and the price for enterance exam is all available on the manipal college website. The difficulty level was par with bits exam.the admission process is easy and the college mails everything we have to provide while we take admission in the college.
