Likes
- I like the campus greenary. There labs equipments are really appreciatable.
- Some professors are so good. They teach you, motivate you, will clarify your doubts perfectly.
- I like that college doesn't only focus on studies but other curriculum activities as well. Clubs are way too good here.
Dislikes
- NO FEST!! I used to think that it's fine if there won't be any fest but it's really imp to have fest in a college tbh it's so boring otherwise.
- As a girl I hate hostel rules too much. There's nothing to explore of you are a hosteller.
- Location. Nothing is available nearby. No cafe, no place to visit, no market, even pizza hut, Domino's as well as blinkit doesn't deliver at this location.
Course Curriculum Overview
Professors are good here. They not only focus on your studies but your personality development as well. Yay tests level are avg not so difficult not so easy but many students get fail at their first sessional tests so stay focused from the beginning. Teachers are good. Some teachers are avg some best some below avg. There's a akgec digital school too on YouTube tho. Teaching methods are quite casual like notes bnwaana and all. Classes are of 50 mins each and 4 labs in a week.
Internships Opportunities
Don't know much about internship but never heard that there's no scope for it. But as for first year NO INTERNSHIP FOR YOU FOCUS ON STUDIES that's what our section incharge says!! Tho don't worry there will be scope of internship or otherwise you can do online-
Placement Experience
There's sure a campus placement available. But as per now i didn't see any big placements like they show on their websites. Avg placement of Amazon recruitment was also 5 lac only on campus. And as per recent placements list there were some good placement of 25 lac around but I don't think so it's good and not each person getting 25 lac placement ofc. Avg isnt good.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fees in total- 141756 No college scholarship yay can apply for aktu scholarship and all or you may go for dee waiver if you are eligible. No such campus employment atleast for first year students.
Campus Life
Campus Life is avg. NO FEST !! timing - 8:30am - 4pm( even for winters as well) Yay they support sports for both girls and boys(daily practice) but NO CHESS CULTURE (which I hate the most). Library timing: Girls - 8:30 am-7:30 pm Boys- 8:30am- 9 pm (yay boys have better life) There are 7 main cultural clubs: 1.Verve ( Fashion and designing) 2. Euphony ( Singing and music composition) 3. Taal ( Dance and choreography) 4. Goonj ( Drama and Nukkad natak) 5. Footprints (Oratory and Art) 6. Horizon ( Similar to footprints) 7. Renaissance ( Managerial society Usually manages college programs.) And then some technical clubs are there too
Hostel Facilities
Hostel life- FOR A GIRLS ITS A PRISON and for boys it's a smooth life as a hosteller. Hostel fees- For girls- 120000(3 seater) For boys- 120000(3 seater) 130000(2 seater) For girls hostel few rules are there- Clean your room by yourself ( no maid provided for cleanliness even clean your room's fan as well by yourself) for boys they are being provided a maid for it. Outing timing: 8:30am - 4:25pm whereas for boys it's till 10 pm around. No electric appliances are allowed in a room. No food is allowed in a room(not even mess food) You need a HOD sign on leave application of you are taking leave on working days(and trust me hod is too rude ) In winter they provide hot water only for 2 hrs(6am-8am) after then there will be no chance of hot water. Tho PGS are available nearby as well as flats as well. As the college is located at highway there's nothing around the college ( no cafe, no visiting place , nothing)
Admission
Admission process was time taken(3 hrs minimum). You need to visit college on the scheduled dates and pay the full fees at once to get your admission done. And if you want a hostel you need to pay whole fees for it at a same time. As aktu admission got late in my time the cut off was too low. Students easily got CSE branch around 91-93 percentile here.(which couldn't be possible if the admission didn't get that late )
