Entrance Preview
chartered accountancy entrance (ca foundation course) simultaneously with my graduation. i scored 65% in my 12th standard in 1994 and scored 55% in ca foundation course
Course Curriculum Overview
there is nothing like that.as far as fee and budget is the concern is a very reasonable course across India and one of the reputed curriculum and percentage of qualifying was very less due to competition so it was Ike a challenge for me to qualify it within the normal course of time duration and settle a career line.
Internships Opportunities
not at all its educational institutions covered under DELHI UNIVERSITIES so no scope for STIPEND and all that
Placement Experience
nothing until you qualify any professional course for your career.In india there is no scope of job and career without ant professional curriculum so you have to go for something else also.Chartered Accountancy Entrance (CA FOUNDATION COURSE) simultaneously with my graduation.
College Events
ONLY FEST and nothing beyond it somewhere i have gone through the phase of elections of DU. as i was also doing preparations for my ca foundation course so no joy no time for such kind of celebrations at all. my emphasis was only on my career and preparations for my professional course
Fee Structure And Facilities
for all colleges fee structure is almost the same and its budget college nothing expensive at graduation level as compare to any other professional course.as far as ca course is concerned its also budget course at that time. nowadays its little bit expensive due to high priced tuitions/coaching and there is no trend left for self-studies
Campus Life
Campus life is awesome for the people who have nothing to do in life except graduation and have set their family businesses. for whom there is nothing except professional courses for their career and livelihood its nowhere campus life except studies and studies. GENDER ratio is generally 50-50 In my college there was noting like extra curricular activities competitions etc.
Hostel Facilities
there was no hostel at all. its only educational institution for lectures by professors in morning session. its nothing like that hostel or accommodation facilities for stay for outsiders students.
Alumni/Alumna
there is nothing like to encourage for alumni and no one is attached to me now who studied together in that college.
Exam Structure
as usual its same like in other universities or colleges exams are always hectic if you appear with full preparation as i was a commerce student so there was nothing like that for me in LAB. my distance from home to college was far away so traveling was hectic and tiring for me rather exam. it was my lifetime experience to attend any institute where you need to go regularly should be very much nearby.
Admission
there was cut off marks list across all colleges in ambit of DELHI UNIVERSITY. SINCE SCORE WAS 65% there was very least opportunities for admission in DELHI UNIVERSITY COLLEGES. MY FIRST AIM WAS TO CLEAR MY ENTRANCE TEST FOR CA i.e. CA FOUNDATION COURSE for which i appeared in 1995 NOV. and i got cleared it easily. after that i started study for GRADUATION AND CA simultaneously as the syllabus was similar mostly
