My three years of G.T.Patil college experience

The curriculum is quite updated. When I studied in commerce faculty, the professors used to share a lot of updated information. English and Accounting are compulsory for you. No matter which option you take. Curriculum is available in both English and Marathi. And it is taught in both the languages. There is also a faculty of Arts and Science. I will give 8 out of 10 for curriculum.

I studied under reservation, so I had to pay fees between Rs 2,000 and Rs 4,000. And there are category wise fees. Hostel fee is Rs 5500 for everyone. General's salary is between Rs 15000 to Rs 20000. Others vary according to faculty. Scholarships are available. Tuition fees for science faculty are between Rs 20000 to Rs 30000, it would be better if you go to the counter and ask because the fees keep changing.

In extracurricular you are taken for competitive marathon exam. Computer labs are available for you to access computers. There are libraries for books, you will find so many of all types. Annual dance festival is held on republic day, there are no student groups in the college. The activities of NSS are work and earn scheme.

You will get hostel facilities in the college campus itself. Breakfast is available in the morning, food is available in the afternoon and evening, the quality of food is fine. The menu keeps changing according to food availability and demand of students. Hostel fee will cost you up to Rs 5500 with canteen.

You will get the admission form and fee information at counter number 7 and the admission process is very long, there are very long queues during admission, the admission form can be submitted after 2 or 3 days. Most of the admissions have been done. The cutoff does not seem high, but many students fail in the first year itself, if you are serious in your studies then only take admission in this college, all the staff professors are very supporting. There are football fields but no grass. There is a hostel and a gymnasium nearby. There are volleyball fields. There is a canteen nearby and a law college is also nearby. So take admission and enhance your knowledge.

For admission in college, you have to give an interview, the interview is taken by the principal there. You may also fail in the interview. If you fail in the interview then admission will not take place. There is only one round of interview and that too very simple questions are asked.
