AMAZING COLLEGE LIFE

Good remarks about my college is there we don't find ragging which became the greatest issue and no bad remarks I have noticed about my college.

IIT JEE entrance exam I passed in 2017 from Patna and I scored 183 out of 360 in mains and 213 in Advanced. I did not opt actually for civil branch but due to not possessing good rank i was unable to get better branch. Also I had no better knowledge of branch during counseling so I was assigned civil branch. So I had no better option. I opted for this college because this is in the main city of India and also reputed in the education sector. My Papa advised me to take admission in IIT DElhi so I did.

Being in first year , I don't have much knowledge about the course. But all the first yeartie students have to study same thing. In the college attendance policy is famous. All the students must have 75% attendance otherwise 1 grade is shortened in the corresponding subject. Course is although good but some rules are not useful actually. In some courses, lots of work load are there but some are really good.

Yes my college does provides internship. I dont have idea about stipend provided by the company. There come many reputed company like Samsung , Nokia , Mahindra ,Tata etc. They take students for the internship in summer.

More than 50% students get placement in college and the average salary is 6 lacs per annum . The company like samsung , Nokia , Mahindra , Tata , Boeing , etc come to college. The placement is done in November of each year. They offer different amount to different students from different branches. The maximum amount is offered to the CS students and it sometimes go above 60 lacs per annum. And then different branches like electrical , Mathematics and computation also get high package there.

The fee structure is feasible for the students as the fee structure has been divided into three parts. One for the family income more than five lacs per annum , one for income more than one lacs and below five lacs per annum and the last one is less than 1 lacs per annum. So the full tuition fee waiver for income less than 1 lac and 225000 per annum expenditure is for the students having income more than 5 lac.

Yeah , a mcm scholarship is provided to the students of family income less than 1 lac per annum. Also there is a State bank of India in the campus which provides the loan facility . The loan facility is a little bit hectic and tiring. A lots of documents are required. I got the loan and will have to pay back after the end of 5th year.

Gender ratio is very less. Almost 8:1 is the ratio of boys and girls. Students parties are there but only inside he college not outside politics and no politicians are allowed to propagate their agenda in the campus. Diversity is clearly seen as the students come from all over the India. The language diversity and other things. No sexual harassment is tolerated in the campus . Strict action is taken against it. No religion , politics and economic status are revealed. The campus life is really amazing and unforgettable after the end of college life. Ragging is also not seen there.

My hostel is one of the biggest hostel and my room is sharing . Two students occupy a room. The mess provides food for the three times a day . In morning from 7 to 9 AM breakfast and 12 to 2 PM lunch and then 7 to 9 PM dinner. The food quality varies day by day. One can say the monday as best and the wednesday as the worst. The cost of lodging and fooding per semester is almost 21000. Hostel provides the facility of washing machine , badminton court and the playing kits both indoor and outdoor. So the hostel facility is good.

Many alumni are there who are the founder of companies and CEO f companies. In the first year many seniors come share their success stories to motivate us. And college seniors help a lot in all the sectors like study and sports and cultural activities etc.

Exam in the college is the one of the most hectic schedule. The college take two minor exams and 1 major exams. Some of proffessor also take 2 or more quizzes. All contribute to the result and hence the students have to engaged always in their studies. Non of the courses is chilled out. Exams are at the interval of almost one months and the result is published within one week.

I got admission in IIT Delhi after passing the entrance exam Jee Advanced 2017. My rank was although not good but during counselling I opted for the IIT Delhi so I could get that. My all the counselling process was accomplished by myself. At home I selected the course and college and the documents verification was done in IIT Patna. I had to deposite 45,000 during the verification and then rest of work was done at the college. At the college a little bit document verification and then I was assigned a hostel.

There are more than 500 faculties in IIT Delhi and also more than 50 lady faculties are there. All are Ph.d degree holder. In my first semester I had all the professor good except one. I don't agree with that way he taught the students. He used to come in the lecture hall and just read the slides. Most of the students did not get the contents and slept. But my math faculty was really nice who used to go to every student and made them to understand everything.
