Course Curriculum Overview
As i am ittereseted in journalism and photography, Media Science provides a wide range to choose between carrier aspects in media including jouranlism and film. Here they teaches us with in hand experience of real life aspects to get a whole knowledge about the topic and subject. The professors are good here but there could be a few more professors to teach.
Internships Opportunities
Producer, Video editor, designer, RJ, Journalist etc from companies such as Netflix, hoichoi, ABP ananda, R republic, Disnet hoster, Aditya birla, Dhoom, kolkata tv they also provide a intership period and then they takes u as parmanent worker. You can also apply for companies such as discovery and national geography if you are skillful enough
Placement Experience
from the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies such as Netflix, Hoichoi, Disney, ABP Ananda, Aaj Tak, Zee etc visits here and offers job roles to students. 14lakh PA was the higghest package offered here. 90% of the students get placement from the college. My plan after getting the degree is to apply for Media jobs
Fees and Financial Aid
Their is no particular tution fee increasing policy but they do increase quite few times. I was costed around 399999-4.2lakh including everything. Scholerships are available for merit entry and female students also WB Student Credit Card Scheme is accepted here.
Campus Life
Festivals such as LOGIN UDAY etc are conducted each and every year along wih workshops. NSHM has two big libaries filled with any types of books you want. The college have MAC systems and Studio products professional instruments for practical practises. For sports they also have a club where all sport activities are done.
Admission
Anyone from any stream can apply for this course with a atleast parcentage of 45% in 12th. The application from can be found on the official website of NSHM Knowledge campus and also one can take admission by visiting the campus. The admission fees updates every year for freshers so you will get them in the website itself before the dates of admission been announced in the website it self. Seats can be reserved for non general category students. NSHM is under MAKAUT university so every 3-4 weeks CA and PCA takes place and Semister exams are also of standard quality. The Fees could be a lesser in admission though.
