An emerging University

Overall The college is Good, But management can improve as resolving a general issue like attendance and medical leave is hectic as the college is strict about these and demands many level clearance.

I opted for this college cause of its name and the promises offered. The infrastructure was admirable and the facility and faculty were one of the best in knowledge park. I have heard about it from many parts and had read about it in many articles.

The course curriculum was usual and similar to any other UGC University will follow. The course materials were readily available in the library, any bookstore or over the internet. Also, the university's print shops provide with hard copy notes as a reference if needed.

No, the college doesn't provide any internships ( that I know about). It does call many outsourced firms for training the students on latest technologies to keep them up to date. It had collaboration with IBM for cloud computing and recently switched to Microsoft for big data etc training.

The college provides you with enough opportunities to get placed. The big IT companies like Infosys, Wipro and cognizant recruits students every year. Apart from them, many start-ups come to the college for recruiting. Though, getting placed is entirely on the student how well he/she clears the written and then on performance in the interview, GD ETC.

The fee - structure is expensive as per to government college but is feasible as to private colleges. The fee structure usually is generalized for all the year till graduation for the student as per to UGC. But recently, there has been a gradual hike in fees for freshers as it arose to INR 2,50,000 for B.tech CSE from INR 1,70,000 in 2014. The hike is justified by the increase in general facilities and facilities and by the growing name of the college in the university hub and IT sector companies.

The college does provide scholarship on the basis of 12th marks and on basis of annual income of family(below creamy layer). Apart from that, it provides internship on marks of country-level exams like JEE etc.

The hostel has grown from one to many in the last 4 years. Started with just a 5-floor building the hostel has doubled up to 10 floors. Also, the hostel now includes a park area, badminton courts, gym arena etc for the hostelers. The mess food is same as to any other hostel as there can be nothing good as like home food. The hostel provides a daily changing menu for all the three meals. The mess doesn't serve nonveg on any day but weekends do have special food plus sweets.

Every year the college calls out there alumni to interact with juniors and guide them. Breaking and overcoming the age barrier between faculty and students as students ACM interact more freely and can ask a general question from the alumni.

I got through its own entrance exam i.e.GEE. Once you clear the test, every other procedures is usual which includes counseling and stream selection etc. The process demanded us to attend an hour long presentation where we were introduced to college and the facility it provides, the cultural events it is part of and the affiliation it has . After this, we were asked to submit out general forms regarding out 12th marks and other things like exam scorecard etc. The final part included the one on one counseling between parents and student with an HOD of the department of which, the student chose the stream.
