Very helpful, student Friendly and also at the same time very neutral in all aspects including in placements which is quite an issue.

The course curriculum is very vast and dept covering both technical and managerial aspects of the industry. But this has to be updated as and when the industry goes. The course should be more relevant to the industrial development. The courses should try to bridge the gaps between industry and education.

No, College does not provide any internship for any discipline. Although you can apply for Ph.D. under any professors with a government stipend

Placements were in the downward graph between 2013-2015. However, it picked up the pace in the last 2 years. Yet the core placements for IP and Mech still staggered. Anyway, Placements for IT sector is reasonably good. The industrial connection is quite less average.

Apart from the detailed and in-depth curriculum, the college is also very interested in the college level cultural and state and national level technical events. There are also other clubs to promote the collective interests. College is also more active in the participation of other college events also.

The government fees are very nominal. You can avail to that nominal fee if you are eligible to write KCET. The seats are completely based on merit and reservations. Apart from KCET students can avail for bank loans which you might get easily considering the reputation of the college

The gender ratio is pretty equal. There is no gender bias in the college whatsoever. All the students are treated equally. the college is also very interested in the college level cultural and state and national level technical events. I personally never stayed in a hostel. But in my friend's opinion stay at the hostel is very comforting (BOYS). Although the mess is very average. Apart from the hostel there are rooms available around college for 4 thousand. PGs are little less comparatively and the cost will be around 5k

Alumnus is not that reachable for any disciplines. And college also had not shown interests in the alumni connect in the previous. However, alumni are now getting little involved and still not that significant.

The exam is for 100 marks and 50 marks 2 internals. All of them are converted to 100 marks and then it is converted into grades. Exam structure is as per AICTE approved structure. The internal and external structure helps to scope good marks. The 2 structured exams help to make things easier.

My admission was through government allotment based on merit. Therefore there was no intervention of the college in the process. Although you need to register for the college after government allotment with very nominal development fees for the college for all the four years.
