Course Curriculum Overview
The semster curriculum is same as that of JNTU university (Hyderabad) curriculum except that in my college they also teach other important skills such as app development etc and other important subjects which are not part of the semester exams and curriculum .KMIT has only computer science related branches. My college has got its own courses which we call them as Foundation school,Project school and Finishing school etc which teach the actual skills needed for a student and it gives the real time industry level experience.Exams are conducted frequently other than th semester mid and end exams.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like Google, Amazon, infosys, wipro etc offer internships with stipends starting from Rs 10000 per month and pre-placement offers from the third year of the college which will give real time work experience.
Placement Experience
Our college is best for placements. You get placements from 3rd year onwards.About 90% are placed in the companies every year. Highest package is 1.2 crore rupees at Amazon and the average package is around 8 lakhs per annum. Companies like Amazon, Google, Deloitte, Infosys, Wipro etc visit the college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The actual fees of CSE course is Rs 103000/- per year and Rs 8500 /- per year as library and other charges. If you get a rank below 10000 in TS EAMCET Exam and if your father's income is less than Rs 250000/- annually (for OBC) you can get fee reimbursement, government will pay the college. Also if you get a rank above 10000 then government will pay Rs 30000/- which is almost 30% of the college fees. To get the scholarship you have apply through the epass website every year. Also you can get interships and jobs from the 3rd year.
Campus Life
There are many clubs which you can join in the college like in every college ( like music, dance, art, photography and many more) and also our college has communities like national service scheme (NSS) etc. There are not many fests. There are around 4 fests every year like one of them is Patang Utsav which is conducted every year during sankranthi festival. But many events are conducted by the communities like NSS , street cause etc. There is a good library and the classrooms are small but they all have projectors and the learning is both traditional and digital. There is no big ground for sports, there are basket ball, badminton, volley ball courts etc.You can't play cricket as ground is mainly used for parking.
Admission
I have joined the college through TS-EAMCET entrance exam. My rank was around 6500 in the exam and the cutoff is below 10k for BC-B(caste) candidates in all the rounds except special round for CSE course.
