Likes

Firstly I liked the Canteen of the University
The Kali Mata temple and it's garden were beautiful.
The programs happening at the university like fests and sports tournament.

Dislikes

Actually it was a big campus so I didn't liked walking around it.
I disliked the food at the hostel mess. It was too bad.
I dislike that there was a many holidays between the academic year.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was suitable for me as I had chosen commerce stream in class 12th and I was interested in pursuing that course from a reputed institute like GGV. The course teach me more about finance and business and it has application in field of finance and banking. Course at GGV is very good the teachers are skilled and well qualified. Exams are conducted 3 times in one semester and difficulty is medium.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee is around 24000 for my 3 years Course,many scholarship schemes are available like National level scholarship,state level scholarship and J&k scholarship etc. Actually scholarship amount is around 14000 for national and 6000 for state and I don't have idea about J&K scholarship. I haven't actually done anything with campus employment at the time.

Campus Life

Campus Life is amazing at GGV.The campus is huge and it has everything that a student can dream of his university campus. There are many fests happening in the university organised by different departments of the University at different times of the year. There is Aksa fest,NAMO Carnival,etc. There is a sports campus which has a football field, cricket ground, Basketball court, Volleyball court, Kabbadi court and many more sports grounds and events happen at the university. There are different social clubs like Tarang,Abhinartan, Brotherhood etc.

Admission

I gave exam of CUET for admission in 2022 and opted for Accountancy,BST,PE, English and General Test and I gave exam at Rungta college on 30 August 2022 exam was of 3 hours and difficulty level was medium.Admisson process was delayed and we faced many difficulties during exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The real world exposture is zero, no industrial visits and no presentation and no modern teaching methods are provided and adapted. For this field atleast modern teaching methods should be adapted. Teachers should work more on giving practical knowledge, more internship opportunities should be provided. Industrial visits should be increased. Preparation for Group disscussion and interview shold start.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose bcom hons for its mix of real world and finance Prepares well for job and real world problems too However it needs more case studies and updated curriculum Exams are very much fair but too frequent

The Beautiful campus and hostel things too

Placement Experience:

Firstly they offer internship on 5 sem for 5 6 months paid unpaid too For bcom hons they offer apply legal raipur which is paid internship For bcom it is hard to find paid internship because we have to work on ca firms which is hard under the government rules many of the students get placement of they done their work very well

Five heads of salary..by bcom we didn't give any foundation of CS ca examination

Not as per my expectations

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen this course as this is an honors degree also I am from a commerce background. And I want to know about all the concepts of commerce and the economy. There is a Concise curriculum for this course. Faculty to the student is quite less as it is a private university Faculties are changed regularly. And. In their place, a visiting faculty pursuing a master's or Ph.D. is engaged to cover up the syllabus until and unless any assistant professor joins the university. So that was the lack that was where we were lacking in the 5th semester.

Best college in Raipur

Remarks:

Amity is improving from year to year. We faced some problems there but now everything has improved so much. They have proper faculties now. Also they have guest faculties for some subjects. A specialized teacher for an important subject.

Life in Electronic Department in Guru Ghasidas University.

I got confirmed application in other Central University of different states but since I am from Chhattisgarh so I took this university and also I got admission to top state colleges of my state, but I prefer this university or state because it is central, for entering into this college you have to give exam and you can go through josa counselling or sees have counselling, you have to be 12th pass and for josa 75% is required in 12th, hot general category the cut off is 85% tile....Read More
