- Thinks I like about my college is its placement scenario is very good maximum number of students get placed in college itself. They don't need to wonder much about their career. So many students get's pre placement offers also .
- College life is good . Our college conducts so many small and big fests time to time and different clubs also organises so many programs time to time so that students can explore themselves more easily.
- Faculties of our college are good . As of every college some faculties are good and some are not . If students is interested the faculties are very helpful for them but if students are not serious and sincere then faculties also avoid them .
Dislikes
- The campus size of our college is small. It is only 100 acres of land areas and students studying are around 5000 . Since this campus is very old so this might be sufficient at that time but now it needs to be upgraded and expanded.
- Our college does not have sufficient number of hostels . This problem arises due to its small land area . College hostel capacity is roughly around 20% of students. Due to this maximum students need to stay outside of the campus.
- In course structure I wants here also some system for minor degree like it happens in iits . I have intrest in computer science but due to lower rank can get that so if there was some system of minor degree in other branche I would do that .
Course Curriculum Overview
I feels myself to be Engineer that's why I chose for this course. Since current I am in first year I cannot tell much about how institute prepares students for real world problems but by looking at seniors placement I can say our college is descend in this field. The areas for improvement in course curriculum is that it should be modernized and updated time by time . Teaching methods should be more practical. The frequency and timing of the exam is 2 exams mid sem and end sem per semester.
Internships Opportunities
Since I am currently in first year so my knowledge about intership is limited. But hearing from seniors I know that so many people get their intership opportunity from college itself , some have to apply externally for that . So many students get's opportunity to work with professors of iits due to intership opportunity. Companies provide descend amount of stipends also . Overall intership opportunity in our college is good . By looking their performance in internship company's also offers then pre placement offers which are even more than 50 LPA . So many intership firms also contacts students for internship opportunities, they sell their courses and prepare students for their internship. The alumni network of this college also helps for all this issues.
Placement Experience
In our college placement starts from 7th semester. Before that from 3rd year internship also happens . Information regarding companies visited and no of offers made can be fetched by college officials website. Since I am in 1 St year I can tell accurately about that but I know that in terms of this parameter our college is very good. So many reputed companies visits our campus like Amazon , vedanta , reliance , foxcon etc. Highest package goes around 70 to 80 LPA and average package varies as per branch where top branches like it cs gets average of approx 20 LPA. Percentage of students getting placed is also descend, so many branches have almost 100% placement records. This also varies branch wise , higher branches like it cs have more percentage of students placed . My plan after getting degree is Same as of most of engineer , getting good job.
Fees and Financial Aid
For the case of tution fee I does not pay any tution fee since my family annual income is less than 1 lakhs. So regarding tution fee increase policy I does not have much knowledge but I think it does not hike much. The complete fee for four years excluding hostel and mess will cost me roughly 50 to 60 thousands. Since this is government and reputed college students got various scholarships both government and private. Education loan can also be available easily, so here is no such type of serious financial issue . Our so many seniors have gone for internship and got good stipends. After that so many also gets pre placement offers base on their performance in internship.
Campus Life
Since currently I am writing this review, tomorrow is the biggest fest of our college named eclectika. So many people consider this to me central India's largest fest . And apart from this so many smaller fests are conducted on regular basis with different themes . Our Library is so big so facilities regarding this is also good . There are sufficient amounts of books and journals. Their is wifi access in library reading hall also but this could be more big . Almost every classroom have projectors but generally professors don't use it due to limited time period. Whole classroom building have free wifi access . For extracurricular activities sports and different clubs are their. Our college have so many clubs and they organise program time to time which opens the social connectivity of students.
Admission
For admission in this college we have to clear jee mains exam . After clearing this exam jossa and csab took the counselling process in which college allotment happen according to your rank . So by this process I got admission to this college. So their is no need for application form , application fees, and application date . Their is 50 % reservation for home State and whole seat Matrix is decided according to cast. Here is 2 exams mid sem and end sem per semester. application process happened smoothly so I does not feel any area for improvement in addmission process.
