A fresher perspective:My First Year at SVVV

The course curriculum is really good till now, in 1st sem teaches the basics of c and HTML, and even design thinking was also there and in 2nd sem unix programming, OOP with c++, data communication, applied physics, communication skills, and M1, M2 respectively. faculty till now is best, They teach with real-life examples, and if needed go beyond the syllabus.

After the 5th/6th sem they are able to apply for the on-campus jobs, almost 20,30 companies visited last yr and 2yrs back the number is about 50-60 companies in Feb 2024 14-15 companies visited including tcs and Accenture's highest off-campus is 45LPA and at the campus is 12 or 10.39LPA My plans during the degree are to complete C++ with DSA then full stack web development and then after months of practice will go for internships and then after 6th sem will go for job and dont know more about placements.

Tution fee is same as what the MPPURC told them previously 2,3 years back fees was 90,000 and now it is 110000 per year decided by MPPURC, but they write in the fee structure that it can be changed any time depending on situation,but never changed b/w last 4 yrs just changed bcoz decided by MPPURC. complete cost will be 4,48,000 approx for 4 yrs. schlorship names:for getting first rank in boards/for getting top on whole state board or CBSE/staff member child; and schlorsip for st/sc/obc not disburse yet because just 4,5 days bac registrations started. money rearded competitions are held time by time and companies visited this feb 2024 is 15(including tcs and accenture)for 7 to 10LPA package,last yr companies visited in placement season aug/sep was 20-30;

Infrastructure is good with good IT labs. SVVV's biggest fest called "spandan" held every year in jan or feb for 3-5 days and believe me its te bestest best event @SVVV. and remaining festival events and clubs event+competitions are usual. nearly all needed books are there. every classroom has its own projector and with a security camera on all time. Students can join extra curriculum activities anytime, its very flexible. and Inter competitions are also there. their of many clubs focused on hobbies and hackthons to be more active,they didn't impact student life its all good. And overall campus life is more than ok.

For B.Tech(CSE) you have given JEE mains cut-off may be 40+ and if not given JEE than they have their own exam called SVET-Shri Vaishnav Entrance Test its registration costs you 1000rs this exam will be online and a laptop is mandatory for the the the exam, again if more than 30-40 in SVET you are eligible to join. The exam conduct between august and September, the date will be next Sunday after the SVET registration.

They ask for JEE if more than 40% than get addmission if not given JEE give Their SVET exam, emam conducted online on sunday it has mcq 100 Qs, 30-30 each Qs from PCM and 10 from english or GT. SCore more than 30 or 40 you are eligible for addmission. just prepare your 11th+12th to clear. and no other interview process.
