What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure and campus...also in my branch (CSE) The faculty are enough knowledge to teach us well
They have tie up with TCS so they provide good package also
I also like that they have the SAC Club NSS club and many more clubs like that

Dislikes

The things I dislike is in core branches (ce,me)we can't get more placement
Some teachers behaves bad sometimes to the students
As per my view I'm not totally against the 75 percentage attendance criteria but that the one thing I don't like about..

Course Curriculum Overview

According to me the course curriculum is come under medium level. Basically I take addmission in btech because I have interest in this.and as per Trend the best branch is cse that's why I take.i my college the they take some special classes also for CRT..The Exam is approx something takes 20 to 30 days including practical papers.The difficulty Level is moderate to high(in some papers)

Fees and Financial Aid

If you take once the addmission the tuition fees is fixed .The total Fees including all the cost for education is. Something 550000 including all examination fees and other things .the scholarship is available for Madhya Pradesh domecile students.Only avilable for OBC and SC/ST students.if you are in general category you have to go for national level scholarship.

Campus Life

In my college they held a techfest per years once a time.since they also held some program like some alumni meet and many more things per month..there are many book are available something 70k books but some are old dated..the facilities are more good enough as per our syllabus but not to super good for big companies like(amazon.google etc)...Our College is good in sport's criteria like football, cricket,kabbadi etc..if u want to do any social group these things are allowed but looking and maintaining the decorum of college also

Admission

First We have to give jee mains paper..After that we have to go to councelling process that had completed by MP DTE..Cut off of My college for Outside mp student is 70 percentile in cse.and for mp student they needs 50 To 60 percentile.The only one things I don't like is it has time taking councelling.it something takes 1 to 1 and half months to complete the whole process

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!
