Course Curriculum Overview

PGDM at JAGSoM says Jack of all trades master of one. This is connected to the T-shaped curriculum wherein students have to study all courses in the first 2 terms and thereafter move towards their specialization. The faculties are interactive and helpful.

Class Size: 280Course Fees: INR 1490000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Industry Intership Programme is the internship programme provided by college. Companies do visit college to offer internship offer to students under various roles in different fields. The same continues for the period of 4 months as per the curriculam.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are provided by college. Before final placments students have to undergo Industry Internship Programme for a period of 4 months. Most students do get a pre placement offer though as per 2021-23 batch. Average packege for 2021-23 batch was 13.3 LPA per anum.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for batch 2024-26 batch is INR 1595000. Scholarship is available and provided to students who do meet certain criteria set by college. Students have to score certain min. marks in JAGMAT and have to maintain certain CGPA to be eligible for scholarship.

Campus Life

JAGSoM's college campus is located 3 km away from hostel. The bus service is provided by college from college to hostel and vice versa with no extra charge. The college has various committees called Effective Execution committees.

Admission

The admission process at JAGSoM was smooth and was a single-day affair. It began at around 11 am and lasted till 5 in the evening. We had JAGMAT which is an aptitude test conducted by JAGSoM along with group exercise and two rounds of personal interviews.

Interview Experience

Yes. There was Group exercise during admission selection process. There was a written test called JAGMAT as well in the process. The final round of process was 2 rounds personal interviews with panel members and shoulder panel. Shoulder panel means the panel consisting of members from current batch.

Nice MBA experience with an aesthetic campus and good placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placements in Alliance University is average to good. From the end of third semester students are eligible for sitting in campus placements.The average package for an MBA student is 6 LPA .The highest package for our batch was 24 LPA

Placement Experience:

As iibs is providing good college placements with average package of 9.45 lakhs and highest package of 48 lakhs So don't need of focusing outside the college for placement I think iibs is provided better placement opportunities

Bridging the gap

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Good learning experience with Decent Internships opportunities

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

The title of my review were nice i have explianed my college pros and cons by completing two years of my graduation .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because to get good knowledge like finance and accounts marketing and sales in two years of my masters . The circulum was well prepared me in completing two years of my graduation by studing in my academic subject. There should be some changes need to be made by improving the course circulum and teaching methods like time table of exams class room time table College timings etc Yes the timimg of exams were not so easy it was very hard for me to go to college it was so far to go from home but the college has no buses facility and i have already try to reach so early.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage

Practically 80% of my 2020 batch was given job offer by top recruiting organizations like Amazon, iGate, Accenture, HCL, Infosys, Wipro, DE Shaw & Co. Typically the average package they offered to people was around 3- 4 lakhs and the highest was way up to 10 lakhs. Our College possessed an active location cell that functioned hard to provide recruitment and other job opportunities to us.

A Solid Choice for Industry-Ready Graduates.

For two year PGDM programs, there are various eligibility criterias like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT and JAGMAT. JAGMAT ia a requirement at the time of selection process. The application form, fees and the dates are provided in the website. JAGMAT is an aptitude test which comprises of 3 sections- 1)English Language proficiency 2) Quantitative aptitude 3) Logical reasoning The total marks is 75 and each section will be of 25 marks. the duration of the test is 90 minutes.
