I am pursuing MBA and the overall experience so far is very good, I like the curriculum and the faculty's teaching methods, they adhere to a mix of both practical and case studies teaching. The examples they give can easily be related to the actual world and we get to know the concepts that is happening around the globe.

a lot of comapnies came for internsip like: 1 - Oxane Partners - they came fo a finance role and were offering a stipend amount of 60,000 2 - Netelixr - They came for marketing role and the stipend amount was rs 25,000 3 - Media Ant - They came for an HR intern with an stipend of 10,000 4 - CATking - They have come for Business analyst and Marketing intern with an stipend of 25,000 5 - HSBC - They came for an finace role and stipend was of 75,000 6 - EY - They came for an marketing and business analyst itern and the stipend amount was 30,000 7 - Verity - They came for an finace intern role and the stipend amount was of 20,000 8 - Salesforce - They came for an marketing and finance intern asn the stipened amount was about 80,000

The college has their placement committee which is in charge of bringing companies for the placement of the students. The committee also organises a lot of pre placement talks also do that the studentss can ask questions directly to the companies HR person or sometimes the COO or the CEO abou the company. This helps the students to understand the company better and apply tfor the job role that the company is offering so thet the students dont feel like that they are unware of the possition or confused regarding the company that they are opting in. it is not mandatory for students to sit for the placements in the college they can also take placements from outside prior they just need to inform the committee members that they are looking for placements on their own and they dont require the placement form the college personnels.

The fees are a bit high, to be honest, and NMIMS after distribution of the offer letter after conducting all the tests asks you to pay the yearly fees in one go and no token fees for that also they give a very short duration and they start to ring you if you don't pay on time. You can easily apply for a student loan with the help of an offer letter and the student is required to submit the RTGS/NEFT slip once the payment is done for the course you have opted for.

My so far experience is good as we have a lot of activities to do on our campus starting from carrom board & table tennis to football & volleyball. We also have different Club and Committees which the students can be part of who organize different events and activities throughout the college so that the students don't sit idly and only study, we try to make learning a better experience for everyone by also trying to give the students with practical applications for what they are learning in their course. A major portion of the college is still under construction so it is a bit noisy sometimes but overall it has also made the infrastructure of the college a lot more interesting and enjoyable for the students.

NMIMS provides mandatory hostel facilities to all their postgraduate students, the hostels are equipped with all the necessary facilities like GYM, Doctor, Store, etc. The food that is served at the hostel is also hygienic and it provides the students with all the necessary nutrients that are required by an individual. We are served mainly vegetarian foods but for non - vegetarians they serve boiled eggs for 3-4 days depending on the menu that is set up by the hostel committee and the food in charge of the hostel. Overall there are a lot of things to do in the hostel we have 2 TV rooms which are open 24 / 7 where you can go and binge watch whatever you want to along with your friends at any time.

The admission process was smooth, we all were called to MUMBAI where we selected our slot dates after clearing the NMAT exams. The CUT off changes every year. 1st they look after the overall cut off criteria and if you qualify in that category they look after the sectional cutoff, if you qualify both then you will receive the call for those colleges. The application form for the same can be found on the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies official site and if you want to apply for any coure they you apply to all their branches simultaneouly for the course you are opting admission for in one place after giving the exams. NMAT is held evey year and an individual can attempt 3 times i a year, but NMIMS takes only the 1st attempt each year into consideration for the admission for the course you have opted for. The dates of the exams are also flexible as you can choose which date do you want to choose for your exams, again that too depends on the avialability of the seats & center.

NMIMS conducts 2-3 rounds of interview sessions after the exams are done. 1st - Glacier Test This is nothing but an essay writing kind of stuff where we are required to write an essay in the given time for the question that appears on the screen. 2nd - GD (Group Discussion) In this, a panel of 8-10 members are given a topic to debate on and come to a consensus. 3rd - PI (Personal Interview) The last round is a personal interview where each id is left alone with a panel of 2-3 members who take your interview.
