A Glimpse of IITRAM college

The course curriculum followed here is same as the curriculum followed by IIT GANDHINAGAR and DAIICT GANDHINAGAR as they are the top institute of our states as far as computer engineering branch is concerned. The college changes the curriculum on regular basis as suggested by the seniors who work in the industry in different fields

I am currently in first year so don't have any internship experience as of now but as pery knowledge the internship opportunities and research opportunities are best here. The alumnis frequently visit the college and provide students the opportunity to have internship in their own start ups and companies. This college also provides internship opportunities to other college students as reasearch intern.

As a computer engineering branch student I can't comment of computer engineering branch placement as it is a new branch and first batch will pass in 2026. As far as the placement of other branches are concerned the college provides very good opportunities for BTech, MTech and PhD students. The highest has went to 15 Lpa and average being around 2.5 to 3 Lpa. Also the number of students placed in core branches are pretty good compared to other colleges

For Gujarat Domicile candidate the college fee regardless of branch is 50000 per semester and for other state candidate it is 100000 per semester. However the hostel and mess fees are same around 40000 in total per semester. I would recommend to charge the same fees for Gujarat and other state domicile students.

Since the campus size is small as the college is located in a residential area unlike other colleges. The campus life is a bit decent but their are some events which occur pretty often mainly related to sports. Their are some clubs which are some examples of social initiatives like Daitva and RSS. Also the library here is very good the college often invites outside faculties and alumnis to interact and motivate and guide the students to become a better engineer.

Currently we have been alloted Municipal Headquarters as hostel which is a 5 storey building with 4 2BHK flats on each floor and the flat size is decent. Each flat is accomodated with 9 to 10 students. New hostels have been already constructed in AMC Dental College campus nearby and will be soon ready for accommodation. The seniors and MTech students are accomodated with hostels located in Hathijan. But soon by end of this sem we will be shifted to new hostels which are 12 storeys and it will also have facilities like garden and libraries. The college has a mess facility and the food prociedy is of decent quality. The menu is changed every month according to food preferences of students and the quality control also takes place on regular basis

I appeared for Gujarat Board as well as JEE Mains. I got decent scores in both the exams but couldn't get any top engineering colleges of my state. But since in Gujarat we have a separate councelling for engineering colleges admissions based on our board and GUJCET scores i got admission in this college. This college also considers JEE scores for CSAB candidates which are from other states. One can apply on this college while ACPC choice filling as well as in CSAB councelling
