Bacholers Honours in Agriculture has a great scope as India is a country of Farmers and Agriculture therefore a lot of research and development is required in Agri cultural sciences for better production in India. It gives various job Opportunities including government and private sector jobs. Our course is mostly practical based That usually occurs in fields and labs. The university should focus more on current and advance technologies rather than traditional ones.

Internships in large amount provided in campus or out campus in the companies like fertilizer, pesticide and dairy 2 Internship fairs are organised every year to provide Internship to the Students. Higher is the number of certificate higher the chances of getting a job or internship

From the 2nd Semester of 3rd year the students can get in campus placements according to number of certificates the person have Companies like AMUL , IFFCO , Somani Kanak seeds, Sonalika tractors etc come for placements. Usually after the BSc very less students option for jobs, but nearly 60% of Students get jobs with variable salaries

Tution fees is around 20-25 thousand per semester. Not much hike in fees instead fees reduces with the increasing years of course Degree program is of 4 years thefore in total near about 4 lakhs of rupees are required. Multiple scholarships like (AAP ratna) are offered to Students based on their performance in the course. Jobs in seed ,fertilizer, pesticide companies as well in dairy industry are offered.

The university being Agriculture university has lush green campus full of trees , gardens , crop fields, orchards , streams, ponds and bit of wildlife. Library is huge (of 5 floors) and nearly all types if books related or non related with course are available. A huge stadium with gym, badminton court, basket court and NCC course is also offered here. Several social And cultural societies and clubs are there with dedicated events and practise.

In the first year 3 sharing room is provided which indeed is Very necessary to develope a bond among students. And from 2nd year onwards, seperate rooms are provided for each student. Menu is diverse with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Hostels are provided in the same day of admission itself. Rented rooms nd PGs aren't allowed.

Our university is the first Agricultural university of India, therefore admission here Can be taken by giving It's entrance exam as well though ICAR-UG examination conducted every year. Application form of our university can be found on It's website(simply search Pantnagar university) Charges of one whole year(2 semesters) is around 80 to 85 thousand with hostel fees included Reservation for girls is 30% and 2% reservation for state domicile quota and others for SC/ST and EWS Exam usually happens during end of May or either First week of June. Difficulty level is average(like if You have studied for NEET then easily you can crack the exam) Admission process is half online and half with the physical presence of the candidate.
