Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus here is strictly adhered to RTU prescribed syllabus as the college is affiliated to RTU. However curriculum here is not that updated to current standards that it would help you to solve industry level problems right away. There's a lot of learning curve in between and it's to be completed by you and you only. Teachers here are very good. They are very well aware of the content that they are teaching. They are very cooperative knowledgeable and experienced. Apart from few, they all are very friendly with students. Semester here longs for approx. 5 months. Break after sem is not provided here but there are long breaks before end terms in every semesters' end term examinations. Exams here are conducted thrice in every semester, excluding end sem. A student has to mandatoryly give 2 midterms of the three. Exams here are pretty easy as compared to other colleges. If one studies even 1 week before exams they easily score 8.5+ cgpa.
Placement Experience
Placements here are average like any other college of the same tier. Average palced is like 5.5lpa and highest placement placed is 27,00,00 per annum by Juspay. Students are eligible for placements from 7 sem or 4th year. I think 75% students get placed here. Companies visiting campus includes infoysys, cognizant, TCS, nagarro, Torrent gas, Juspay, teleperformance, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee here is like around 1,08,000 thousand per year for academic courses, excluding hostel charges. In which there is 51,000 fixed for each sem and some 2k for exam registration fees, etc. Hikes are done every year by 8k. Hostel fees is in two modes 1,08,000 for duct rooms and 1,50,000 for AC rooms. All types of scholarships are accepted in our college. But however, there is no specific scholarship that is provided by college. However, for female students and reservation students, there are many government scholarships that they can encash.
Campus Life
Campus life here is good, just like any other college. Annually, there is one college fest named PRAVAH in Feb or March of every year. At the same time, annual sports events are also conducted named Aaveg, in which teams from many colleges participate. In extracurricular activities, badminton, basketball, cricket, lawn tennis, tt, volleyball is there. There are in total 23 clubs in our college. People can check it out on college website. Xposure photography club is very famous here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms here are single and triple sharing in duct mode. I think there are total 450 rooms in old hostel and in new hostel in which all the rooms are AC around 60 or so. New hostel has all the rooms in double sharing. Hostel fees is 1,08,000 for old hostel and 1,50,000 for new hostel. Food here is average, not that good. Often times is not a special site to see a coacroach, dangling in your daal.???? Hostel fees include electricity and laundry charges. Taking room in locality nearby is a decent idea. Locality is good.
Admission
Admission process was through REAP, as it is a RTU affiliated college. I got enrolled in 2022. My JEE percentile was 84%. Choice filling in REAP is very important. You have to fill it very carefully. First of all, you need to apply through REAP website. It is released around the same time after JEE exams results. After registering, you have to fill in your choices. That step is very important. After filling choices you are alloted colleges according to your choices. At 84 percentile I was allotted IT branch back then, and then I internally slided to Data Science. Admission process was fluent and staff here was very helpful. Nowadays there is a talk in our college of becoming autonomous. However there's no such development seen in this direction by me.
