More focus on practical approach for better understanding of subject.
Scholarship programmes are available for students.
Some teachers are very nice and guide you for future.

Dislikes

Hostel maintenance is very poor and in bad condition.
Entry timings for girls hostel are very less.
Hectic schedule and so many exams are held.

Course Curriculum Overview

The teaching staff is very nice here. The exams are held in three parts- prefinal 1 , prefinal 2 and finals and lab finals are also included. The mode of teaching is mainly based on practical method so that student can also understand the practical things.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees including the hostel charges are Rs. 50000 per semester. The course is of 4 years. The scholarships are also available on the basis of academics , sports and family income. The scholarship exams are also held by the college.

Campus Life

Fests and events are always there. All kinds of books are available in the central library. The classrooms are well maintained and eaxh classroom is provided with a smart board. All types of sports and extracurricular activities are provided.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are not so good. The rooms are not well maintained. The meal quality is okay but not that good. Menu for breakfast is always same but some variety for lunch and dinner. Registration process for hostel is easy as the hostel fees is already included.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Admission

12th pass students are eligible for giving entrance exam whether from biology or math stream. The application forms are out by the March or April. The level of difficulty of exam is normal. The entrance exam fee is 1200 rs. for general/obc and 600 for st/sc.

Alpine group a completely Good choice for Agriculture.

Placement Experience:

The college has consistent placement record , reflecting strong academic, industrial training exposure.The placement cell also provide guidance for further and better opportunities, I guess there is no college which give direct placement for agriculture, yes we get to collaborate with many good training institutes and as far as i have seen majority of students go for Maters for the same course. In courses like AME, BHM, BCA & IT the college has significantlly good score, pharmacy department also has good no. of placements in MAX, Apollo, Cipla, Zydus lie companies.

Every course has different criteria for placement, there is a placement cell in the college which guide well and keep us updated for the drives. We have 100% placement record in AME,BHM , Pharmacy & BCA & IT courses. In my course we become eligible during 4th year (7th semester) where we can appear for the drive.Majority of students go for further studies in my course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There's a lot of practical exposure that is rarely available in other universities due to lack of farms, Curriculum prepares well for real life scenarios Could be improved if it was more updated but I think it is under the NEP for the recent batches.

Placement Experience:

The placement is average. Google, Intellipath, and Hiked are the companies that provide placements. This year the maximum package is 6.5LPA. About 60% of students got placed in the Agriculture department.
