Course Curriculum Overview
To be frank , our curriculum is really decent compared to other colleges as it is an autonomous Institute. Programming they teach includes the real world applications. This was the main reason that I chose this college. The faculty are experienced in their own fields which gives additional strength to the Institute. Two semesters are conducted every year and each semester contains 2 mid term examinations. Mid terms constitute 40 percent of the total grade whereas semester contains 60 percent.
Internships Opportunities
GDSC is one of the platform which is introduced to students in their first year itself. This is a platform offered by google where students can learn professional coding along with many other aspects . You can even participate in hackathons through it where u can earn money .
Placement Experience
Talking about the placements i can day our Institute offers best placements compared to any other college in the city. As of last year 2023 the average package was about 12 lpa and the highest was 2.5Cr(abroad). About 90 percent of the students get their placements in the college itself. Unlike any other college in the country our Institute is even provinding extra coaching for the students who didn't get their placements after 4 years
Fees and Financial Aid
The tution fee will be decided by JNTU even it's an autonomus Institute. Now the tution fee for general category without any scholarship is 105000. Students will get internships in their 3rd year itself and can earn their stipends through them. Finishing school in 3rd year offers internships to the students.
Campus Life
Coming to the college life , to be frank we don't have a large campus as the area is only about 5 acres. So do not dream much about it. But the peer group you find there will be awesome. Clubs over there are too interesting as there are numerous clubs. A student can join anyone of them or even a multiple clubs. The experience you get over there is just awesome. These clubs are the platform where u cam interact with many of your mates and even seniors and gain their experience.
Admission
KMIT considers TS EAMCET exam as the eligibility criteria. At our time , the cutoff for CSE branch was around 7000 for general category. We can even also apply through B category which considers your MAINS percentile. You can find the application form in their official website. The students who are having reservation can get into this Institute comparitively with a lesser rank than the general category students.
