What Students Say

Likes

There will be fest every month, so it will be entertaining.
The place where the university s located is a nice rural area. SO we can explore these rural areas
The infrastructure for MCA department is good as well.

Dislikes

The administration is corrupted with internal politics.
VC have no attachments with the students at all.
Food here is at the lowest in hostels, outside campus also there is nothing much

Course Curriculum Overview

The course and the university have the latest industrial projects which will help us to publish new papers. This is good for our career and future as well. There are few outdated courses they have included with the course which could've been avoided other than that the carriculm is overall good.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Campus and the department have placement cells but not very active. The companies coming are mostly startups. Campus do not have any financial assistance but they provide educational scholorship and other state central sholorship for students and the Educational department is active as well.

Campus Life

Ankhur is a annual arts and sports happening in CUK, It is around 1 month inter university fest with other departments. The university library is adequate place for learning. There are not many books in universty library. The sports infrastructure in the university is bad though.

Admission

The admission process was simple and through online The intake was through the CUET entrance exam, cut off Mark required was around 135 for OBC and for general it was around 152. I had score around 169, The hostel allocation was a time consuming process and not at all automated the first preference changes according to hostel warden

A good start for career growth

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

My MCA Life : The Real Experience

Placement Experience:

Students were allowed for placement from the final year. Only a few firms came and offers were limited. Avg pay was low and not many got placed. After MCA , my plan was to look for roles in tech and grow my skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

good learing environment but limited mca placement

the placement for mca students in this colllege are very limited . students usually beome eligible for campus placements from the final sem. around 25% to 45% of student get placed with the package of 4lpa to 5lpa.after completing my degree i plan to enhance my technical skills and better career opportunities in the it industry through off campus placement or from other training

My experience of CUK

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures.
