Course Curriculum Overview

5

60 students in a class, boys girls ratio is 5:1, people are mostly from UP few are from around the country, there are peer groups but not stable , no we don't get marks for participating in class, students only come to get attendance , rarely there's a teacher whose class we do to learn.

Internships Opportunities

5

We have been provided with the technical training and soft skill training from external educator who were great at there work and it helped students a lot to over come there weakness so I think it's a pros of this institute

Placement Experience

5

Almost everyone gets placed with the average salary offered 6.5 lakh per anum , which I think is good score for a private college under AKTU , IMSEC lies in the top 5 college among aktu in this case with is a good rank

Fees and Financial Aid

Ever since I am in the college , there is not much raise in fee although there was only 5000 raise in college hostel fee , and yes scholarships are available by government which are twf and economically weaker class. total academic fee is Rs 126819 and hostel fee is Rs 115000 for two seater room

Campus Life

5

bad sports arrangements , broken equipment and machines at gym, no swimming pool , small auditorium, library is very small, the students are not even allowed inside mostly and closes as our class ends basically no point to put library there. campus is safe everything else is very bad , no proper fest and cultural events .

Hostel Facilities

yes boys and girls are separate , neither of them are allowed to enter other's hostel, there are 3 buildings for boys , one huge for girls, hostel fee is Rs 115000 for two seater non ac room, we are not allowed to stay outside after 8 pm, food is really bad, there is a canteen but it's worth nothing , security is really good.rooms are spacious every other thing is bad from washroom to mess.

Admission

I myself got trapped into there marketing where they claim to be the 5th best private college under AKTU, also I was not prepared for JEE and didn't wanted to drop that year , So I took admission here through AKTU counselling as it was very easy to get in here, just pay the fee and get your seat , there was no necessary requirements , If I can go back in time i will chose the one which has very little fee structure and easy to get admission as there is no major difference between IMSEC and those colleges. Many of my batch mates here didn't even participated in JEE they just got here directly by paying fees which is the majority of college. just give money and get admitted , else another official way is to attend JEE doesn't matter how much you score , just fill in the AKTU counselling and select this college .

Faculty

4.5

course is not much difficult but students do get fail , the course is good as you can learn the subject and teach it further but is bad as it does not helps to develop any skill which is required to become an engineer , 7-8 classes goes like 8:50 am to 4:40 pm with 50 mins break in between. Faculties watch youtube videos and teach whatever they get from it , there is only one I admire Dr. Pradeep Kumar (Associate Professor) he has done his studies from IITs and has proper knowledge of is subject , there are few more but mostly are youtube pupil. 75% attendance is mandatory unless you are favourite else you will be detained from the exams and have to study that semester again.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
