Course Curriculum Overview

This course I took because of its technical aspects. Through the world of GIS we can visualize the Real world in digital maps . Through spatial analysis we can visualize the probility and impact of natural as well as natural phenomena.The curriculum is overall good.

Internships Opportunities

The internship in included in my curriculum in My 4th semester of my Post graduation. I have applied for NRSC, ISRO and I have been selected for it in a 4 months time period as a internship cum project.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees are quite high I felt while being a central Government institute students should get more relaxation . However there are state as well as Central sponsored scholarships to aid students maximum amount limit as 10000 for non technical degrees.

Campus Life

Overall campus life is quite enjoyable and chill. The campus is situated in a village area far from the hustle and bustle of city life . During monsoon times the campus will be so green and beautiful. There are frequent cultural events by different departments and annual sports and arts meets named Ankur.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms and Facilities are really good . But it is confined into some hostel . But the mess is managed by private parties so the costs are huge and quality is not up to The mark. Overall one can sustain in hostel if they are ready to compromise with food .

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

The admission was based on CUET. Its a national level entrance exam for getting admission In central universities for post graduation. The exam was in two parts one part containing General paper and another one domain paper. I got really good score so the admission was so smooth and I did not avail any reservation.

excellent in acedimics

Course Curriculum Overview:

1.I was very much intrested to be a scientist when i choose biochemistry because its one of excellent bioscience subject to pursue the carrier as good scientist and complete the phd in bio science field 2.I would say for further acedmic carriculum like to pursue phd and to complete bioscience related competative examination will be clear by just following acedimics but am not saying it will prepare for you to a real world . 3.teaching methods is excellent as i mentioned earlier but problem is they only stick to acedmics apart from that they didnt prepare for real world problem job getting moto that is problem 4.exams level of difficulty is mediatory not high or not low as of my knowledge but other say it very difficult exams nobody able to score more than 70%.

Food and nutrition articles in newspaper made me to take this course. As it had full scope in that time. Actually curriculum is very poor in preparing us for real world application. Practical session must include more of industrial visits and projects related to industry. We had enough time to study .

My Experience: The good and the Bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

I liked this biotechnology course in degree(Bsc) and i wanted to continue this course with higher studies. Hence this university is reputed one in Karnataka.. i choose this one and I got the seat and I am very happy for this. The teaching methods are really good but it depends on particular lecturers, how they teach .. For main sem exam the time was around 3 hours for 70 marks and it was moderate and can be manageable

Our college provide very fantastic placements , in every year they invited two or three companies in our college to get placements us.In last semester the students are eligible for for campus placements.Shilpa biological industry, biocon industry both company are offered the placement in last year. they told they provide highest packages 800000 rupees per year and averages 400000 per year . In our department , 2 to 3 students are getting palcements. after i completed my degree , i want to research so i admitted in phd programmes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

They provide good curriculum and better syllubus which covers most of the geology and oceanography topics especially physical and chemical oceanography, climatology, hydro geology and other topics but practically they seems little back they doesn't provide new instruments for surveying and oceanography they still following old techniques which is not relevantly used in this time

My experience of CUK

I applied for a few Central University based on my entrance marks. But i couldn't able to make into other colleges due to shortage of marks. When i got selected into this university, the first thing that attracted me was, the varied section of students which gives a platform to explore about various cultures.
