Likes
- The overall environment of the campus is very lively and beautiful . And our friend circle are fabulous since they are all from different states we enjoy a nice cultural integrity even if we have much differences between us.
- Eventhough we get only one fest per year that is my favourite since ANKUR is a platform for each and every student to showcase their talents and improve their inborn talents and boost their confidence and self esteem.
- The infrastructure of the University is overall good and we have the best department in the case of infrastructure. Apart from that, the ecofriendly nature of the campus give more calm and soothing feeling to everyone to face life in a positive way.
Dislikes
- The behavior of the administrative people and most of the staffs are horrible. They are treating the students like animals and we dont deserve that kinfd of treatment.
- The atmosphere of the Hostel and the low quality mess service is horrible that makes the students life a hell in the campus/\.
- The nonchalant attitude of the faculty to innovative ideas and proposals for more extra curricular activities are not good since they are forcing the students to not come out of their comfort zone by taking up new tasks and roles in their campus life
Course Curriculum Overview
I got to know about the course from my school teacher and he said it is a fine course and has more job opportunities. There is nothing i got from the curriculum for real-world applications. Only one or two faculties teach properly. Others are an utter flop. They are still following the old-school system. They must improve their teaching by giving more application-level tasks and all. Instead of giving an essay-type exam that simply tires the students. Instead, they must give multiple-choice questions that will make the students think more and read more will be more beneficial for their future.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I came to this university for the first time fee was very less and had more work shops,extra carricular activities and other study related activities.IN my UG first year it was 3000 for odd sem and 500 for even sem.Now it is 10000 for and 550 for even sem.There is a lot of scholarships available, in which we get nothing. They say that we come under EWS girls category and we pay leass fee so we are not eligible for any scholarships. But in reality, we get no concession and no scholarships.
Campus Life
For NAAC's accredition they have written that they conduct many workshops and festivals in university but in reality we have only one fest which is named as ANKUR.And when we ask our faculties for permission for conducting fests in our department they make fun of us. No available books in library. But the classrooms are fine.I will give a zero for sports and extracurricular activities. The influence of political party is at its peak. They see every thing on the basis of religion. They have made a student get suspension and have done life threatening. Have appointed nearly 200 security staffs which is of no use.They just behave rudely and do inappropriate things towards students. But campus life on the basis of friends is good.
Hostel Facilities
Room facitlities are moderate.Since I'm staying in tin shed hostel,which is a temporary hostel wich was build only for 3 years and we are still living in that hostel.Some of my friend's rooms are in a very bad condition.Meal quality is very poor and we eat this unhealthy and unhygenic food.People get worms and other insects from food and we get hospitalized due to this.And we pay 14000 for this food. And when we ask for refund after paying each and every penny and after writing tons of application they dont approve our refund saying they don't know about any refund and all.
Admission
Should appear for the CUCET entrance exam. I appeared in 2019. Got the application form through the mail. Then, I paid the application fee. Had a reservation based on the OBC category. During my admission time, the process was quite easy but I had to go to the university.
