Course Curriculum Overview
The decision t choose mechanical engineering is often influenced by the wide range of subbjects it cover. The relevance of these subjects to the real world aplications and industries such as automative, aerospace and manufacturing can be significant factor in choosing this course. A well designed curriculum not only focus on theoretical knowledge but also integrate on practical knowledge. Laboratory session, projects and internships can play crucial roles. Areas of improvement : Make the students connect to the technology , help to improve soft skills, conduct mock placements. Frequency of exams: two examination in one semester - mid semster and end semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
TVS , Aditya Birla and other companies offer internship opportunities with stipend. projects are based on the companies . Students can also work on various projects with the professors of the institute.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placements after 6th semester. The companies for mechanical branch are TVS , BPCL, JSW etc. The average package is around 8-9 LPA depending upon the branch. around 85% students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
According to me ,there is no tuition fee policy. The complete fee structure is 15600. The fee structure depends on the annual family income. Students can avail The National level scholarship as well as cg post matric scholarship for home state students. The amount of scholarship depends upon the fee .
Campus Life
The annual fests are Techonocracy , Samar : The sports fest, Eclectica : the cultural fest , E-Summit , Avinya . These fests are often organised in the months of November December ,January and February etc. Almost all range of books needed for an engineering course are available in the library. Smart boards are available in every classroom. Various tournaments for cricket , football, vollyball and other tournaments are organised in the college.
Hostel Facilities
Facilities such as table, chair , cupboard , fan , light , bed etc. are provided in the room. Meal quality is good . Breakfast , lunch , snacks and dinner are provided. Vegetable are based on season. Hostel is not available for all students . Only limited seats are there so hostel is provided on the basis of JEE rank in the first year and then for following years CGPA is taken into account.
Admission
Eligibility criteria: The candidate must complete his/her higher secondary education with PCM. He/She needs to qualify JEE main . The application form,application fees,and application dates can be obtained from institutes official website or can be obtained from admission office/student section. There are reservation benefits or quota for certain categories of applicants such as SC/ST,OBC , economically backward classes or person with disabilities. The entrace exam (JEE main) occurs twice in a year with difficulty level ranging from moderate to high. Areas of improvement: Simplifying the admission process can make it more accessible to wide range of applicants. Providing feedback to applicants who are unsuccessful in their application can help them understand ares of improvement and make the process more transparent.
