Remarks

I think my college is best option for north Gujarat. It provides very much freedom to us to do new things in our college life. But the bad thing is that my college requires minimum 75% attendance.

Entrance Preview

The admission in my college is done by ACPC(Gujarat) in this process 60% of weightage is given to percentage scored in 12th and and 40% is given to JEE Mains. I got 128 in JEE MAINS and 86.6% in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has variety of courses. It has around 10 different courses. I am in computer engineering and it has good syllabus as our college is part of deemed university it has its own syllabus so i fond it a plus point in prospective of college.

Internships Opportunities

As I am in 5th semester i don't have any experience of internship. But the reputation of my college is good enough so student get easily internship.In my department various companies come for placement and internship.

Placement Experience

Here various companies come for placement. some of them are MNC which are TCS,iBM,INDUSA etc.

College Events

We celebrate various festival such as Youth festival,Navratri,New Year celebrations,Engineers day and many more. The most important of all of them is convergence which is the name of our techfest. In this convergence students from around 30-40 colleges take part every year in month of February.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provides scholarship to every top 3 students in each class. The student having first ranks gets 50% scholarship and having second rank gets 37% and having third rank gets 25% scholarship.

Campus Life

The extracurricular activities are very good as my campus has all facilities for sports and and other activities. Gender ratio is about 3,4 as male and female.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is available for both boys and girls. The capacity of hostel is around 9000 students and the fee is average so that any one can afford it and the food quality and accommodation is also awesome.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Our college has alumni association which is very helpful to us for establishing contact to industries. At Every 6 month its meeting is organized to keep It live.

Placements are good. Students are eligilble for campus placements from 7th semester. The highest package is 2100000 and the lowest is 200000. The median package is 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per year. From last two years there was 100% placements but usually its 90%. I plan to pursue pg after this degree in either mtech or mba.

In our college placement starts from 7th semester and students are eligible from the 7th semester. The highest package is around 21 lakh and avg package is 3.5 to 4 lakhs(companies are tcs , tatvasoft , argusoft , IBM etc.) many students get placement like more than 50 % my simple plan is to get a good job from campus placement and do job after my graduation.

U.V.Patel collage of engineering Full review in detals

I get the addmition from appling into ACPC. thay ranke you based on the socre you get in the 12 and diploma. after that thay head the three round of the collage selection and give you the collage bsed on the empty sites and rank. i chose this collage is becasue it has nice scoreing structre and nice student and teacher ratio. good exproser to the event and inter collage festivel. other collage like silver Oak that i have applied in first round of selsection. but when i get to the coolage form more information the resonse was not good and collage infrastructure is bad. it's feels like crouded and sofhisticated. and one good thing about silver Oak the fess are less than my collage areounf 80 to 85 k. and it is aforadeble to me but becouse for hostel problem i did not get the addmision in silver Oak....Read More
