A day at NMIMS Hyderabad

The course is pretty much up to the industry standard. It considers all the aspects of being an all round manager. It teaches in depth about various fields like marketing, finance, ops, etc. The teaching method uses case study approach to get real life understanding of concepts.

The college provides decent internship opportunities with decent stipend. Many leading companies of various sectors do come here to hire. Besides internships the college also provides various live project opportunities.

The placement scenario at college is pretty good. The average package goes around 12 to 13 lakhs pa. The Finance placements are very decent over here and will land you up in good companies post your mba completion. Overall the placement cell is doing a good job.

So the fees for two years is twenty lakhs which includes the academic fees as well the deposits. Besides this the hostel fees for two years is fours lakhs fifty thousand which includes stay plus mess charges.The tentative tuition fees hike is approximately 10 percent pa though it is not necessary that it increases each year.

The campus life is pretty cool as it is a residential campus. The day starts with normal academic activities in the morning, sports activities in evening, clubs and committees related work post that and layer ends on reading pre reads. We also celebrate multiple events here and also organize different sports competitions here. So pretty much it is an inclusive environment.

The hostel is more like a five star hotel. The rooms have all facilities like beds, cupboards, drawers and study table. The hostel also has a gymnasium and play area. It also has a grocery store and medical bay here.

The admission process was pretty smooth. Had appeared for the NMAT exam. Scored 210 in it. So was eligible for the interview. There are no reservation benefits at NMIMS. The application form and relevant information can be sourced from the college website.

So for getting into nmims we have to give wat and pi. For wat general in trend topics is what one can expect like AI, ML, etc. The PI is pretty focused on your CV. Also one has to give the Watson glacier test along with watpi.
