Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam is outdated, our college follow AKTU course curriculum. The thing is most of the practical subject, the way they are taught make thems more theoretical, being a CSE student, there are many subjects, except some, most will feel like they are theoritical and as per exams, if one study properly one week before it, they can easily score 8+SGPA
Placement Experience
Placement this season is worst. Students are getting hardly placed, due to recession, although during 2021 50 LPA was the highest package. But, this season, most of the 4th year batch is unplaced, and tech companies are also less, other non-tech companies do visit for lower package
Fees and Financial Aid
I have secured a TFW seat via UPTAC Counselling, so course is almost free for me, for this you have to get good score in jee mains, about 85 percentile+. The fees for me is about 20KINR per year, but there is no relaxation in Hostel fees (i.e. 110000).
Campus Life
Infrastructure of our hostel, basically the rooms, I can say is much better as compared to IIT's, the rooms are very spacious, and we also have canteen in hostel, and gym too. So for hostel everything is good. Campus life and infrastructure is somewhat average, attendance part is very very strict, they detain student if they dont have enough attendance, even for University Exams.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel as mentioned is great, It's best I can say, Canteen, Gym etc are provided, mess food is average and one can have food, I can say is edible enough not more, not less. Discipline is also maintained too, and mostly its a no ragging campus, but some seniors will take simple intro and are friendly too.
Admission
There are two ways, first direct admission, it is based on class 12th percentage. Another happens via UPTAC Counselling which takes JEE Mains Score and admission is based on that, reservation benefits are given in counselling process.
