- There are departments for subjects of every domain.
- The weather in the evening & night time is very pleasant.
- The hostels are also quite decent & all the necessary facilities are provided.
Dislikes
- The daytime weather is really too hot even during the winters.
- There is very long distance to cover to reach departments from hostels. The hostels are located very far away from the departments.
- The transportation facilities is just for show, the run it only when some formal person or process is present there in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is quite relevant in recent times as the demand for a good managerial team is gaining popularity in the market. The upcoming industries in India generate the demand for the same. Therefore it is also mandatory.
Internships Opportunities
There are no intership opportunities in this university. Students find their own internships & go for it. The university doesn't even assists the students while they pursue their internships. So, I strongly recommend that people who are good at their academics do not come here. It will decrease your overall productivity.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite simple. Every odd semester i.e for the semesters - 1,3,5, & 7 you need to pay all the facilities charges like library fee, health centre fee, security fee, etc. & The fee payment link gets activated at the starting of every semester. The hostel & mess fee has no specific interval to pay. It can come anytime so I can't tell about that.
Campus Life
The campus life here is like more than average. To be honest, there are no club involvements, it is a 650 acres land mostly covered with grass that acts like cactus during summers, coz it dries up very badly. Also, here there is very little duration of winters...like 1 or 2 weeks. During the rainy season this campus just looks like wow, because during that that time there is only greenery everywhere. There are very few activities like clubs, seminars & celebrity visits.
Hostel Facilities
Here we have 4 type of hostels each for boys & girls. Two is for PG students & the other two for UG students. In the hostel room you get buker beds, an almirah, a chair & table. The hostel accommodation for a month is ?600 & the mess fee is ?99 per day which includes breakfast, lunch, & dinner. The mess food in not that good, it is below average.
Admission
Eligibility of the course is - the candidate need to appear for the CUET UG exam. For this particular course, i.e BBA, a student from any domain (Science, commerce, or arts) in his/her class 12th can apply for the course. The application form for CUET can be found at the official website of NTA (National Testing Agency) & after clearing the exam you also need to apply for the university at the admissions website of CUK (Central University of Karnataka) which is - cuk.samarth.edu.in Here, there are many reservations considered during the admission, they are - OBC quota, EWS quota, sports quota, NCC quota, HKR quota (Hyderabad Karnataka Region). Here, there is a semester based system. In BBA there are 6 semesters as the course is of 3 years. Whereas, in Btech is a 8 semester course as it is of 4 years. There are 2 mid term exams & ab end semester exam that happens during each semester. Apart from this there are also presentations, Group Discussions, Vivas.
