- There is no much interaction between 1st year and seniors in college. Everyone is their ways apart.

Course Curriculum Overview
I think the curriculum is not so advanced and updated. We are still learning the topics and things that are been there from decades whereas in the industry the technologies have changed and are much more advanced. To improve this, a university should introduce subjects and courses which are in trend and some self development classes like coding web development, AI and all from 1st year itself. Load and weightage of files and projects is still playing a key role in marks. I think this wastes our time and this should be replaced with e assignments and practical applicaton of learning.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure is quite high and expensive. Especially in case of hostels it is too expensive. there are no facilities provided in the hostel as compared to the fees charged. just they are taking advantage of people who demands more for hostel as college is not present in a developed area. There is nothing good surrounding areas and nearby happening places. The college fees is okay as there are many facilities in field of R&D also there are very advanced labs.I don't think there is any concept of campus employment. Scholarship is available
Campus Life
Overall campus life is not so good and happening at AKGEC. There are no fests or techfest in this college. It does feels like a school. they have infinite number of attendance issues which is just waste of time for students. They do not give NOC for internships before final year. If a student wants to excell in some other field, he or she has to face so many difficulties. Classrooms are good and have sufficient space. There is no AC in classes and hostel. SPorts is a preference for AKG, they are active in sports and all. An annual sports fest is held every year in college. Societies and clubs are also very active here. If you want your college life to be happening then you must join any club of society. there are technical as well as cultural societies.They regularly participate in competitions all over india and other colleges.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is very disapointed. In the initial days the food was okay but after sometime they degraded the quality. only when there is some inspection the food is good to eat. the rooms are not so good and look like an old buliding without wall putty and paints as they have the brick show concept. the washrooms are also not very good in my hostel (BH1) Also a bad thing, playing TT or badminton after 9 is not allowed and in college field also no sports is allowed late night which is a very negative point. If I rent a room or PG the expense would be less than half and the facilities would be good. Ther is no atmosphere of study in my hostel. Every time there is something nuisance going on . They do not sleep at night and disturb others.
Admission
I appeared for JEE mains and according to cutoff I got admitted in this college. A centralised counselling was organised to get admitted into the colleges of aktu. Application form was available online off JEe mains and fees was 1000. Fees for registration of counselling was 1000 and seat acceptance fees was 20000. Reservation was available for Home state candidates and other classes and castes. Counselling should be more efficient and on time .
