Remarks
One can appear for Gujcet after completing 12th science with PCM as subjcets. The addmission process includes an entrance exam named Gujcet followed by a counselling process. The students need to registar after the results of the exam on the ACPC portal and thereafter the allocation of different government colleges is done on the basis of merit and cutoff of the college. One need to pay 1500 after the allocation of college is he gets admission in government college and 20000 for private college. The exam is conducted once a year.
Course Curriculum Overview
My keen interest in machines influenced me to choose this course. the curriculum includes much exposure to practical knowledge providing regular industrial visits and performing lab experiments. exams after generally conducted quaterly in a year.
Placement Experience
generally from 7th semester one is eligible for campus placements. the average pacakge for it, ec, electrical and mechanical departments is 6 lacs per annum. generally L&T visits every year for campus placement. mostly there is a ratio of 70% placement in every branch.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees here are very nominal, one need to pay 1600 as tution fee and 900 as exam fee for a single semester. the scholarships are given on the basis of merit. the digital gujarat scholarship and MYSY schemes are there on the basis of caste.
Campus Life
the college have pretty good infrastructure and arrangement for classes and workshops. there are various events going often on regular basis parallely with study. Some events like sports events, navratri celebration and many more are conducted every year. the are many social clubs like NCC, NSS, Invincible Ngo, Bachhpan Ngo, ABVP one can join according to the field of interest.
Hostel Facilities
the hostel facilities are very good. students are provided 3 sharing rooms. the hostel has small reading rooms and a indoor play area for various indoor games.the quality of mess focuses on the health of the students providing healthly and nutritious food. one need to apply for hostel at the time of addmission and the students get selected on the basis of merit.
