- The facility in the campus is very supportive. They provide guidance and every possible help.
- The facilities for extra curriculum activities like sports, dance etc help in the overall development of student. Along with this the presentation and seminar help the students to build confidence.
- The fests celebrated between the semesters help the students to get some time to refresh themselves which help them to cope up with the stress of studies in the better way.
Dislikes
- Lack of equipments in the lab restricts the completion of experiments and hence the growth of students.
- The number of mini buses to trevel from hostel to department is very less.
- Lack of facilities in hostels. Number of students is much greater than the number of seats available in the hostel.
Course Curriculum Overview
This curriculum helps in getting a job in the industry and also in reaching out to different industries. As for future scope, there are options like genetic councilor. But the only problem we face is the unavailability of some of the machines which makes it difficult to understand the concept.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total fees 12015, exam fees 600 each sem hostel fees 13250 per annum and mess fees 2000 each month. I couldn't avail any scholarship. Till now I have not get any stipend. For students whose family income is less than 200000 they can avail fee waiver. Their annual fees is 12015.
Campus Life
Recently the 37th inter University north-west zone youth festival was celebrated in the university in which total 19 Universities had participated. Other than this there is one more fest going on in the university now named as rangbahar. The university dance became the national champion in hariyanvi dance competition . Facilities are available for allmost all the sports . The university also provides coaching and counseling for cds afcat and hssc etc. and training for swimming too and other physical training also . All the facilities are available in the library including the availability of books and study area for students .
Admission
The entrance exam was conducted after the BSc. final and the cut-off was 50/100. The application form was available on the website of MDU, the application fee was 100. I couldn't avail any reservation benefits. Entrance is conducted twice in each semester.
