What Students Say
Likes
- The very first thing that I liked is the inclusivity, everyone is so helpful without any judgements, the working environment here is very positive.
- The next thing would be the curriculum, the knowledge that we are provided is top notch.
- The third thing would be the clubs and committees. The kind of exposure it gives is commendable.
Dislikes
- The campus is in the outskirts of Hyderabad, so the transpiration is usually an issue.
- Social life beyond the campus is not much
- Less exposure to market areas so limited availability of items.
Course Curriculum Overview
The most important aspect of the curriculum includes the Harvard case study approach. The curriculum is similar for all the NMIMS Campuses. It includes pre-reads before the actual class. It helps in maximum utilisation of time during the class. The curriculaum includes subjects like business stimulation which is a great way of understanding the functioning of real business world. There is a subject named 'Enterprise Systems in the Digital Age' it helps in understanding new technologies for the ease of business. There should be less number of subjects per trimester is one of the areas of improvement. The question paper is prepared by the Mumbai Campus, so the difficulty level is high. The duration of examination is 2 hours.

Campus Life
There is a cultural committee of NMIMS hyderabad i.e. Nexus. All the events and activities are conducted under this club. This gives us a right balance of academics along with some fun. The events are held every month as per the respective festivals. Along with the festivals other events like jamming sessions, open mics, treasure hunts are also conducted on regular basis. The library has a vast variety of all the relevants books. The classrooms are similar to the Harvard style, also fully Air conditioned. There is club for all the sports related activities like Nmims Premier League, TT tournament, football matches, etc. There is another club for all the activities related to fitness. On the academics front there are clubs like marketing, finance and Hr club. All these clubs and committees have given so much exposure. It has helped in building self confidence and making networks. Extra curriculars are very crucial along with academics because it helps in shaping the personality
Admission
The admission process proceeded seamlessly with help from youtube and the official helpline number. All necessary information for the application, like the application form as well the application date was communicated via email, which sufficed. The The cutoff for the 2023-25 batch was 206. Eligibility of the course includes three stages: meeting the cutoff, followed by Watson Galcier Test, concluding with a personal interview. The exam is of a moderate level but it is considered to be speed based and the duration is of 2 hours. The college fees are disclosed at the time of payment. One are of improvement could be mentioning all the important deadlines in email notifications to avoid the need for the frequent visits to the official website.
Interview Experience
The topic for the Written Ability Test is mostly related to general topics that are in talks recently. The topics can also be related to something that we have been learning since ages, like for me it was somehow related to pollution. The questions will not be very specific, you will have to think and understand what the actual topic is. The twist lies in understanding the question itself. The watson Glacier test has all the critical reasoning questions, similar to the ones we prepared for NMAT. I prepared for the interview rounds with the assistance of CAT King. It turned to be really helpful, they have a crash course for the interviews which proved to be sufficient.
