Overall good from academic perspective

This course have more scope for the career that is why i chose btech. The subjects of this course are useful in the real world from the perspective of a software engineer. There should be more focus on practical knowledge rather than written knowledge. Teaching methods should be improved as many teachers teaches more than 2 subjects and only focus on completing the syllabus. Exams are held in every 1 or 2 months with medium difficulty level.

From the 7th sem of 4th year the students become eligible for campus placements. Placement rates are average here. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, mobilite, Birla soft, etc have visited and offers ranging from 6lpa or 50lpa have been made. 70-80% of students gets placed every year. I plan on getting on campus placement and working in the industry for few years then start a business.

B.Tech fees. 1st Year- 103919+5000(refundable)+ 26250 =135169/- 2nd Year- 103919+20100= 124019/- 3rd Year- 103919+23100= 127019/- 4th Year- 103919+24900= 128819/- Scholarships and financial aids are available for students. Placement highest package is 50lpa and average is 6lpa.

Annual fests held almost every year like a techno fest for technical activities, sports fest, and vibgyor- a cultural fest. Library is very large and spacious you can sit their and study and also can issue the books from their, a large range of books are accessible. Classrooms are provided with projectors and screens for digital study and also whiteboards. There are not much of the extracurricular activities happening but some sports are offered like cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton. Students run clubs but there is not much awareness among every student about them.

Admission process of imsec is smooth and easy, eligibility criteria for the courses is based on your percentage of class 10th and 12th and entrance exam(if given). All the admission related information can be acquired from the reception area and admission cell, application form is available from the admission cell and you have to submit it along with application fees which will be later deducted from the fees. Max 2-3 internal examination held in each semester at frequent time with medium difficulty level. There is no as such improvement required in the admission process.
