Course Curriculum Overview
As statistics is a popular and interesting subject, attracted me and I decided choose my career as a Statistics graduate. It gives me very deep knowledge about the real world applications of statistics. In my opinion, the course should include some more application level statistics than theoretical.From this academic year onwards the timing of exams bacame punctual.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for Bsc statistics is less as compared to other science courses. It probably lies in between 3000 to 5000. Students with E-grants or any other scholarship will get reduction according to the scholarship scheme.E-grants for OBC/SC/ST and national scholarships are also applicable.
Campus Life
We have a vast library facility it is open form 9:30 to 4:30.and they issue books and journals for students for reference and for reading. there is a vats variety of books and journals available for each subjects. class rooms provide good facilities for students. Our college provide best support for sports students and axtra curricular activities.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is available for both girls and boys. Ladies hoatel is situated inside the college and mens hostel is outside the college. Allotment to ladies hostel is based on distance and reservation is also considered. So iam staying in a pg wher it provides good facilities. Food is not provided by them. It is located nearby the college between Forus and capital green.
Admission
The admission process was pretty good. Eligibility of the course includes any plustwo with maths or statistics as a subject. Application form was avaliable at the calicut university website, when the admission process starts. It is a centralized admission procedure, which includes all the colleges under calicut university. Application fee will vary in each year. The admission procedure should be fast.
