Likes
- The campus although it is far from the city, it gives a good feel for a hostel life which I never had experienced
- The other thing that I liked about this college is that there is no reservation
- Clubs and committees: They teach you a lot other than all the curricula activities
Dislikes
- Fees are a bit on a higher side so I wish they were a bit less
- It is too far from Hyderabad and hence difficult to commute
- Food in the mess can be inconsistent. It’s a disadvantage as you have nothing nearby to get affordable food from
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a well structured one. In the first year there is no specialisation so you know everything and then you can take an informed decision as to what you want to do in the second year. A course named Business Simulation prepares us for the real world. Faculty is good although some are average. It is a trimester pattern so we have exams every 1.5/2 months
Placement Experience
You become eligible for campus placements from the fourth trimester You can choose which company you want to apply for and which you don't want to apply 100% of the students get placed at this university
Fees and Financial Aid
You have to pay the entire fees for a year within 5-7 days of your admission Tuition fees of the MBA course are around 10 lakhs per annum. Hostel fees are 2.5 lakhs. The refund is allowed in slabs based on when you apply to refund in case you want to cancel your admission They should give more than 5-7 days for payment of fees
Campus Life
Many festivals such as Diwali Dussehra Ganpati are celebrated in the campus Along with that we also celebrated many events such as Freshers Farewell Ethnic day among others There are tennis basketball volleyball courts so there are events of those games NMPL is a flagship cricket event of our college
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is good. It has spacious rooms with AC. Rooms are on 4 sharing basis To register for hostel, you need to pay the fees online after your admission and then a room is allotted to you when you reach the campus The mess facility although not good it is not bad either
Admission
Anyone with a bachelors degree or in the last year of a bachelor course can apply. We have to give NMAT first. Application form can be filled on the official site of NMIMS. Exams will generally be held in the months of November to January
Interview Experience
we had to give the Watson Glacier test along with WAT and Personal Interview after getting a call from the university Interview questions were more about what was written in the SOP For these rounds I ensured that i knew the recent news along with general knowledge
