Life at AKGEC

The Course and curriculum which is followed by AKGEC is designed by AKTU. According to me the syllabus that we study in AKGEC is quite old and primitive. They does not update their syllabus Countinounsly according to needs of Today's need of industry. There are also so many private universities and colleges where syllabus is quite advanced so AKTU should review their syllabus according to nowadays scenarios. But the faculties are very supportive and experienced so when we have doubts we can contact them and they always help us.

The placement at AKGEC is quite average like many other private colleges in AKTU. But if you have skills and capabilities then you can crack good packages at the time of campus placement. As there are many companies who visit regularly for campus recruitment. The median package of AKGEC is around 3 to 3.5 lakhs per annum. And highest package is around 1 crore. Most of the btech students get placed in the end of their graduation at decent amount of package. So placement wise AKGEC is much good than many other tier 3 private colleges

The fees structure of AKGEC is quite high according to their Return on Investment. The fees structure for first year btech students is same for all branches which is 141000 rupees per year. You also have to pay extra 7500 rupee asa Aktu exam fees. The academic fees will be reduced by 10000 to 15000 rupee in second year onwards. And there is not any other extra charges for I-card and books. There is not any scholarship provided by our college at this moment. But they provide financial assistance to those students who are unable to pay whole fees at one time. AKGEC also give money reward to those students who perform well in AKTU external exams. And there are also other rewards like for maintaining 100% attendance and for coming college regular before time. For scholarship you can apply at UP Scholarship portal if your family income is less than 2 lakhs p.a.for general category and less than 2.5 lakhs p.a. for SC/ST category.

The campus area of AKGEC is spread over nearly 30 acres. They have maintained to build a good infrastructure in this area. The infrastructure is designed by German Architecture. The campus is open so fresh air always circulated in college and there is much greenry in college. There is also a huge playground for sports where you can play many sports. There are only 3 canteens in whole college. And there are not much hangout places in colleges. AKGEC have one one club and several societies who focus on cultural activities. And there are not any fests and big events in AKGEC. So if you want to attend fests then u have to join societies so that u will get a chance to visit other colleges fests. There are also some advanced labs and robotics centers in AKGEC like bosch so if u have intesrest in these then u can join them.

The admission in AKGEC in btech branch is through UPTAC counselling. The admission is based on JEE main rank. You can also get direct admission on the basis of your 12th class percentage. But only 15? seats are reserved for direct admission. First you need to fill registration form of UPTAC counselling and then u have to fill Application form and submit your Personal and educational information and upload your JEE main scorecard and required documents also. Then pay required amount of application fees. After which counselling starts and you need to fill branches and colleges in which you want to take admission. The counselling for private colleges is happen in 4 rounds and for government colleges there are also some spot round counselling. After getting seat in your desired college you have to lock your seat by paying 20000 rupee and go to colleges for physical reporting where you need to submit your documents for physical verification and also submit rest amount of academic fee
