Talking about the course curriculam ,all NITs are teaching the syllabus regulated by UGC,so you will find almost the same syllabus for any engineering discipline in all NITs.The syllabus for engineering i think is outdated and very old.THey are still teaching

The companies that visted the campus for internship oppurtunities were amazon flipkart ,piramal ,Deutsche Bank ,Goldmann sachs in Software 2 month internship . in core sector Bajaj ,Reliance, Essar oil and gas.The companies comping for 2 monthfor IT sector .in core sector very less comapies come for 2 month intern .and core companies in placements also offers mostly FTE role few are 6 Months and SDE,Buiness analyst ,Trading role comapnies give mostly 6M offer like future first ,Piramal,Ab Inbev.the internship

in third year of your engineering you will start getting offers for 2 month internship on completion of the internship depending on your work company decides to give you a PPO or not(Pre placement offer).in final year placements will start where companies hires on 6M or 6M +FTE based.in my session the IT companies which comes for campus placements reduced to a very great extent becaus of the recession in IT.but I can tell the companies which comes every year in IT TExas instruments Goldmann Sachs google microsoft amazon flipkart and in core sector BPCL Maruti Suzuki Reliance L&T .these are only the huge companies I have tell about but telling about only mechanical dept No of companies visited 111 NO of offers 161 percentage placement 79% avg package 10.03 lpa median 9.08 lpa. highes package for cse branch percentage placement 85% avg package 26.24 lpa median 19.64lpa no of comapnies visted 165.

tuition fees for general students is 27610 per semester and for SC/ST 5000 rs .I think is totally affordable and very low as compared to other private institutions .however there is income slabs for fees less than 1 lakh -> 5000 1lakh to 5 lakh -> 27610 ,more than 5 lakh -> 60k fees .about scholarship there are various scholarships at national or state level provided to students for Mp students (MMVY scheme is there) also NSP is a good scheme providing aid to many of my friends and also my other friends are taking scholarships from various sources .SC ST students will also get state scholarships that every state offers.also you can go for educational loan because from a nit college you are surely getting a good offer .hostel fee 18000 per semester and mess fees per year is 25000. campus employement there are a lot of companies visiting to our college google ,amazon,microsoft and other huge IT firms as well as PSUs like BPCL and EIL and core companies too Maruti Suzuki,Hero,L&T,JSW.

Manit provide you with a very great and campus life if you are willing to explore it whether it is club activity or sports dance singing or anything.E-Cell ,Roobaroo ,Maffick all this just make any event very exciting and also Dj nights conducted in the event various singers and coming in the event like ashneer grover ,kailash kher ,also last year IISF was conducted in manit.library provides you with a thousands of books even in a subject of your discipline you will find 30-40 books of various authors three floors full library of manit covers your respective discipline books,management books,hindi novels,hindi litervture,english literature ,newspaper(hindi and englsih),history books,dictionery and .one time limit is 6 books and you can library is open upto 9 pm .there is a sports complex providing carrom ,chess,,tennis and Table tennis faculties also various tounament are conducted inter nit as well as nit vs iiit

Some Hostels are excellent but few hostels are in very bad situation.my first hostel (hostel no 4 CV raman Bhawan) was excellently made with inbuilt almirah,very good bathroom and toilet facilities ,drinking water cooler was provided at every wing of every floor.geyser facility was also provided ,1 fan 2 table and 2 chair in a double occupied room.Mess quality is very good as well as menu is good.YOu will also find good quality of sabji and roti Morning breakfast then lunch at evening snacks and dinner you will get.at breakfast bananas and milk too with tea.and at evening snacks with tea or coffee.for hostel you have to just fill the google form given by the college and they will allot you the room in any hostel there is separate hostel for each year of B.Tech never juniors and seniors will be mixed.at the starting of the semester you just have to submit documents along with fees receipt to the alloted hostel.

To get admission in NIT bhopal (MANIT) one has to clear the JEE Mains Exam with good marks and then he has to appear in Josaa counselling that is the counselling process involved in getting IITs,NITs, and IIITs. for getting various branches there are various cutoffs.in recents time if taking the cutoffs of final round the cutoff rank in jee mains are following for mechanical ews 6398 gen 34618 sc 7080 st 2950 obc 12434.
