Course Curriculum Overview

I choose botany to explore the inner side of botanyas a person who loves to learn about plants .so this course was perfect for me and the classes were actually good and the most thing I love about botany is the practical. But some classes of some particular teachers didn't go well.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 685 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college is goverment college so we didn't had to pay the fees but we have to pay oru sem exam fees .various scholarship schemes were available I did applied but didn't got any of them.bit there are many students who got enough money for their educational expenditure.

Campus Life

Talking about library our college has a vast library that includes thousands of books .so many clubs are available and one can takepart in whichever club they are interested.every year there will be annual college day and what ever festival is happening it will be celebrated in college

Admission

Admission process were comparitively easy first we applied to various colleges under Calicut University through their official website and after paying the registration fee I submitted my application .through allotment process I get to know that I got admission here and we reached the college and took permanent admission it was easy.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. Our college has the best placement cell in kerala. Around 30% students are placed each year in our college. Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. The degree mark is not considered, all we have to is just pass the subject and obey the rules of the placement cell.

The course is very rare and one of the important in the present scenario. According to the course they have to provide more details in the syllabus but they are not well prepared the syllabus .they have to conduct more field trips and need improvement in that . I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application. They should include seperate good lab facilities for environmental studies,need permanent teachers and placement activities should be provided. My college - my perspectives

For entering MSc physics in our college , you have to complete your graduation with atleast 75% marks for a non conserved seat. At the time of admission you have to pay an amount of Rs.8000 including admission fee and tution fees. There are 6 non reserved seats and 4 reserved seats including community, sc , sports quata. I was admitted into Sree Krishna College through single window portal of the Kerala government. As I was having a reservation under SC I got admitted into the college through the community quota. Our classes started on November 1st through online platforms like Google meet, Google classroom and zoom. Other important notifications are shared through WhatsApp. As I am an SC student I do have a lot of reservation benefits. Our admission started in October 2020. I joined the college through the allotment procedure of govt of Kerala. There were 3 allotments followed by 2 supplementary allotments. As our college is an aided college the students can also join the college through management quota. It also offers sports quotas for the students who excel in sports.
