Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum at Welingkar Mumbai was pretty spot on! I chose this course because it covered all the essential topics I was interested in. The curriculum did a good job of preparing me for real-world applications, which was a big plus. However, I think there could be some improvements in certain areas to make it even more practical and engaging. The frequency of exams was okay, but I felt they could have been spread out more evenly. The difficulty level was manageable, but a bit more balance in timing would have been nice.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

At Welingkar Mumbai, we had some great internship opportunities with top companies like Publicis Sapiens, Infosys, and Morgan Stanley Ltd. Students got roles like Marketing Intern, Business Development Intern, and HR Intern, with stipends offered. The projects varied from market research to creating marketing campaigns, and the outcomes were impressive, with students gaining valuable real-world experience and making meaningful contributions to the companies' goals. It was a fantastic way to apply classroom learning to practical situations!

Placement Experience

2

Campus placements at Welingkar Mumbai were pretty good. Students usually became eligible from the 3rd semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, HDFC Bank, and Amazon visited, offering various roles. The highest package was around INR 18 LPA, and the average package was around INR 8 LPA. A good percentage of students got placed, which was awesome! As for my plans after getting the degree, I'm considering exploring some internship opportunities to gain more practical experience.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure at Welingkar Mumbai was transparent. I remember the tuition fee being clearly outlined, but I'm not sure about the policy for fee increases. The total cost of my education included tuition, service fees, and other charges. As for scholarships and financial aid, there were options available, but I don't have specific names and amounts. I didn't personally undertake any campus employment, but there were opportunities with different job roles and stipends for those interested.

Campus Life

3.5

My campus life experience at Welingkar Mumbai was pretty awesome! The annual festival named "Waves" usually happened in February and was a blast. For technical stuff, "TechFest" was held in September, and it was super engaging. The library had a wide range of books and journals, and they were easily accessible. The classrooms were well-equipped with modern facilities and technology, making learning more interactive. There were various sports and extracurricular activities to choose from, which was great for staying active and meeting new people. I also joined a few student-run clubs and social groups, like the Marketing Club, which added a lot of fun and learning to my student life!

Admission

The admission process at Welingkar Mumbai was quite organized. I remember checking the eligibility criteria on their website, and the application form, fees, and dates were all easily accessible online. I did avail reservation benefits, which were clearly explained. The exams had a decent frequency, but I felt they could have been spaced out better. The difficulty level was okay, but I think the timing of exams could have been improved for a less stressful experience. Overall, a smoother process would have been great.

Interview Experience

4

Yeah, I had to go through a Group Discussion and an Interview for the admission process at Welingkar Mumbai. The topics for the Group Discussion were related to current affairs and business scenarios. The Interview questions were about my goals, strengths, and why I chose the course. The process was pretty standard, and they also considered academic performance. I prepared by staying updated on current events and practicing common interview questions. It was a bit nerve-wracking but a good learning experience.

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.
