The initial days at welingkar were very nice.
Some of the teachers one is the marketing professor names vankey sir.
I got some good friends which helped me in surviving the college life.

Dislikes

The approach of the college to teach management subjects.
Behaviour of many faculties which was very rude.
The politics by upper management and the seniors.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very nice but there are many things which seems to be unuseful and time wasting. One of the example is Global Citizen leadership program which is only time pass from the point of view of the students. The program should be more practical but it is opposite and it is more theoretical.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 1400000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees for 2 years is 14 lakh which is divided into six trimesters. 4000 is the deposit for library which is refundable after graduation. One can avail bank loan for the financial requirements and there is a tfws scheme available for economically weaker people of Maharashtra.

Campus Life

There is only one building on the name of campus. So in short there is no campus life in welingkar. They take many initiatives but the seems to be mere formalities. There is huge politics involved in each and every activity and process.

Admission

It was a GdPi followed by clearing the cutoff from the exam percentile. It was an offline process. The application process was very vast. The application forms were very lengthy. I gave cmat and got 95 percentile in cmat. The cutoff for this college was 85 percentile in cmat.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
