What Students Say

Likes

Infrastructure of the campus is very good. There are dedicated labs, AC class rooms, auditorium, amphitheatre, two libraries and terrace used for various activities.
Students and crowd of the college is passionate and chill. Everyone gets along well together.
Faculty of the college is really nice. All the teachers are well experienced and knowledgable in their fields, mostly Phds. Faculty is also respectable and friendly towards the students. The visiting faculty also comprises of teachers from industry.

Dislikes

No specific clubs for social activities. The students have to stay updated on their own regarding competitions happening in and outside the college.
No space outside the colleges for activities like sports. Such activities are conducted in nearby grounds.
The attendance policy of the college is very strict. Its difficult to take leaves even for genuine reasons like health issues if the attendance is less than 80% in a subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are many programmes to consider - PGDM Core, eBusiness, Retail, Healthcare, Research Analytics. So students get enough choices according to their background. The curriculum prepares for the real world as well as it explores many diverse areas of interest and everyone is able to get good understanding about all specializations. The time required for the course goes by too fast, making one trimester of around 2/ 2.5 months. This creates a rush to finish the syllabus.

Placement Experience

Placements at the college have been decent. Many companies visit the campus. Companies like Amazon, Nestle, Jio Creative Labs, Accenture, KPMG. The average packages offered are about 12LPA and the average highest packages are 18LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for both years are 14lakhs. Apart from this, the college doesn't provide for the books or other material required. The college has a dedicated career management cell responsible for summer internships and placements.

Campus Life

The overall experience in the college has been good. The annual festival for the college is Webiz. Apart from that, there are many guest sessions and activities conducted. There are sports event RunBhoomi and Impact focusing on various games like cricket, and football, and indoor games like table tennis, chess, carrom The college doesn't have any specific dedicated clubs for activities. Those who are interested are supposed to keep updated about the activities and participate/ volunteer.

Admission

For the PGDM courses, the admission process for batch 2023-25 included written exam, online essay, group discussion and personal interview. Eligibility includes a bachelor's in arts, commerce, science ans engineering. The papers accepted were CAT, XAT, CMAT and ATMA. Enough exams were considered from the process. CAT XAT having higher difficulty.

Interview Experience

The exam papers accepted are CAT, XAT, CMAT and ATMA. For group activity we got case studies and gave group discussions in groups of 10. Interview was mainly based on past experience and written essay provided to the college while taking admission. GDPI was manged well and Food was provided to us during the process.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

To be honest there are placements but the placements are like no one want to be there it is just something unacceptable for the HR students . The promises the long talks are all false and they doesn't focus on students future and career rather they care for just attendance

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. There was one exam conducted per semester which included projects and written exams.

Remarks:

No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. This college surely helps students in grooming and enhancing skill to the top. I would definitely recommend this college to the upcoming students those who are planning to do MBA in order to achieve goals and learn quality skills.

The Real College Life

I was admitted through CMAT examination. The minimum cutoff to qualify was 80 but I had scored 97.5%. The admission process consisted of GD followed by PI, with moderate level of difficulty. The fee structure last year was 14,00,000 for two years but for the current year they have increased it to 15,50,000 for the entire 2 years.
