Course Curriculum Overview
MBBS is a course of the people willing to sacrifice his or her life and time completeljng in an effort to help the people who are sick and struggling.. so I would say the course is extensive and tough .. on a difficulty level of 1-10 Exams 8 Daily activities 7 Curriculum 8 Leisure time none
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee as of the year 2024 - 16600/- Hostel fees are free and mess fees are also really affordable ath rate of 3600/-per month with decent quality of food Hostel room are really excellent with each window rooms single room for juniors and seniors alike Scholarships availed ( I'm an indigenous students from Nagaland 1. Nagaland state medical scholarship 23000/- per year 2. Central minority scholarship 16000/ per year
Campus Life
The campus is one of the most breathtaking ones .. The infrastructure is top .. equipped with everything necessary to be called a national institution There is a multiplex sports complex equipped with a functional large gym , a national level basketball court , a table tennis room , and showers.. a volleyball ground and badminton courts to play The library contents are abundant.. one would find any kind of books journals research papers anything that's required of a medical student with access to the computer network and it's own reprography unit .
Admission
I'm a student of NEIGRIHMS shillong .. it's been the best experience for me Cut off marks for 2022 was 430 for STs 630 for General and 600 for northeast quota... The admission is quite cheap ---- 47000/- compare to other medical colleges... and the yearly fee 16600/- as of 2024 Monthly fee for hostels 3600/- as of 2024 march 1 Exams in a year 1st internal examination ( 3 months into course ) 2nd internal examination (7months into course ) And 3rd internal examination ( 10 month into course ) And pre professional examination ( 11 month into course ) And professional examination ( upon completion of session ) The exams are moderately difficult, I would say .. we need to be consistent in studying to get a definite result .. but that's not to say we shouldn't be having fun .. Shillong is a place full of beauty and nature and we occasionally visit and go on trips to clear mind off things I am a student of Nagaland.. and we have 8 reservations as of 2024 . Cut off marks
