My dream college

There is lot much to learn in iit kanpur. Everything was here that we can learn by experiments . Somehow this electrical engineering attracted me by the experiments . Here in kanpur every professor make us learn in experimental way so that we can understand easily. They show us experiments from our daily life which make us to see the real world. Here the exams will be very difficult if we are not into the subject. Curriculum here was very good for the researchers and make us learn every detail of the concept.

Microsoft, uber, Amazon, intel and some comapnies give oppurtunities for the students. They recruite good coders for the development of their app. Electrical engineers for the car making industries. Some companies take based on their coding and trading qualifications to increase their profit in the market. From the programming club we will be given based on coding. In robotics we will have make robots that plays and car robots for racing. There are many projects that students do and professors do with students. Recently kanpur has made artificial rain .

We will have our placements in the 7th semester. There are lot of oppurtunities to get a job. Microsoft, amazon, uber and many more companies offer jobs. To sit in the placements we have to get above 6cgpa.This year 989 placements were made. Our highest package for 2024 is 1.9crore is from economics department.there are total 33 packages above 1 crore. Top recruiters are rakuten mobile,American Express, intel etc. . Average package was nearly 262700.75% placements has taken place. if we are not into any company by placements then we can apply by our own or if you are interested we can write gate and get into mtech. My plans after the degree is to get into isro as an electrical engineer.

Fee of each semester will be one lakh for curriculum and remaining includes hostel fees. There is no rise in the tution fee from when I joined here. The complete cost of my education is nearly 280000.There are many companies that are providing scholarships for every people some are given by conducting exams and by their financial issues. Reliance provides scholarship . There are lots of opportunities here in the kanpur many best companies come for the placements. If we have best skills in every aspect we can get very good placements.

The campus experience was amazing. Theres a lot space to go around and many places to visit in the campus like oat, academic area, many canteens all over. There are three annual fests that occur one is antaragni(related to cultural) it will be in October, udhgosh(related to sports)it will be in the september and techkriti(related to tech) it will be in the month of march. apart from these we will have sports competitions among the halls, cultural and technology related competitions these will be at any time. Freshers will be in the month of august. Library is very large and it consists of many books and not only for books we can go there for studying through laptop. There will be hall sports infernos in every semester. We will have sports clubs which include badminton, tennis, foot ball, volleyball and many. There are dance , music , book clubs and many. There are student run clubs like robotics, finance, aero modelling, designing, electronics and many. We can make real life project.

Hostel room includes three beds, two beds and single bed. We have water drinking place near to the rooms. Washrooms are hygenic. Breakfast is very good but afternoon and night is average. Menu was good. We will extras every day if we don't like mess we can order from the extras. Non veg will be provided everyday but we have to register before one day. Registration for hostels includes mess registration too. We have to give our details in the hall office like aadhar. We will get to know our room number after registration. Later we should go to the mess and register there. Mess was ok. Hostel fee per semester is 15k approximately.

Eligibility for the electrical engineering in iit kanpur is through jee advance getting rank between 7000-8140nearly for obc candidates and it varies for every category. There is a website called pingala and our admission starts from there. We have to login through our name and enter every details like aadhar card, about parents and their occupations and category certificates if we have reservation. We can see our fees everything in the pingala website. We have hostel admission process which is in person we have to go to college and give our details in the hostels office for registration. Timings of exams are conducted as per the schedule that doesn't coincide with others exams. It can be in anytime before 8pm.when we are here for the first tym we couldn't find anything where to get the admission process done for the hostels. So i suggest to keep the admission in the hostels in online. Everything was fine here.
